The people of Anatolia were compelled to endure the constant threat of the Byzantine Empire while also suffering from Mongol invasions. The Kayı tribe, situated in Söğüt, stood as a bastion against the Byzantine menace, perpetually on high alert. Amidst these challenging circumstances and Ertuğrul Ghazi's illness, a power vacuum emerged, leading to a power struggle between Osman, the valiant youngest son of Ertuğrul Ghazi, and his uncles Dündar and Gündüz, who possessed diplomatic skills. Dündar, Ertuğrul Ghazi's most accomplished successor in politics, became increasingly power-hungry as his brother's health declined. He was determined to conquer any opposition on his path to power.

Aygül, responsible for the women's administration in the Kayı tribe, had loved Osman since childhood and dreamed of marrying him. Bala Hanım, the courageous and beautiful daughter of Şeyh Edebali, sought answers to protect her people, leading her to cross paths with Osman, as both shared a commitment to their people's future. Their love blossomed at first sight, but it faced significant hurdles due to betrayals and conspiracies. Osman was prepared to confront both internal and external challenges, not only for the Kayı tribe's future but also to overcome the obstacles that kept him apart from Bala Hanım.
