00:50 We all know that Los Santos is supposed to be a sprawling imitation of life in California,
00:55 but it could use a few extra buildings and environments to make it feel more like the
00:59 real world's Los Angeles.
01:02 Well if you're feeling that way, you could install this mod, Real California Architecture.
01:07 Basically, Los Santos will be filled with real world California locations from the Hollywood
01:13 sign and interstates to the Santa Monica police station in Beverly Hills Hotel.
01:19 Perfect to give GTA just a bit more realism.
01:25 The Red House
01:26 No, this mod isn't for a simple red house.
01:31 Think of it more like a small campaign expansion.
01:34 The Red House adds in more than 20 new missions, a new heist, and the ability to hire bodyguards.
01:45 If you truly want your criminal empire to excel, you might want to consider the bodyguards.
01:50 You'll also be given new missions that will require more stealth than GTA's typical
01:54 missions where you go in guns blazing.
02:01 Pedestrian Riot/Chaos Mode
02:12 Sometimes it can feel like Los Santos is totally mundane.
02:16 Most of your inconveniences will be traffic jams or the occasional jaywalker.
02:20 Why not add a bit of excitement with this mod?
02:30 Chaos Mode reprograms NPCs to start attacking everyone and everything.
02:35 Can you make it to the next story mission without your car exploding, or worse, you
02:39 dying to a stray grenade?

02:49 Superhot Mod
02:50 Superhot was a fun little indie game where you could experience intense gunfights in
02:55 super slow-mo.
02:57 If only more games had this sort of gimmick.
02:59 For GTA V, you can install this mod where everything in the world moves, but only when
03:05 you move, just like in Superhot.
03:12 While there are a couple of known bugs, the mod is a blast to toy around with and almost
03:17 forces you to be more strategic with your actions.
03:23 Dragon Tales Pack
03:30 We won't lie, this one isn't as focused on gameplay as the other mods that we'll
03:35 be going over, but it was too hilariously jarring to leave off.
03:39 The Dragon Tales Pack mod does not turn your character into a dragon, but rather allows
03:43 you to feel like you're younger self.
03:51 All loading screens are replaced with images from the show Dragon Tales, and all of the
03:56 music is replaced with the show's songs.
03:59 Hey, some of us need a good dragon tune while we're in the middle of a bank heist, alright?

04:18 Considering all of the times we've been caught by the cops, we have to wonder why
04:21 Rockstar has never shown what happens to our characters after being arrested.
04:26 Come on, isn't it odd that we just lose some cash and wake up either outside of a
04:30 hospital or police station?
04:32 Well, the Prison Mod fills the gap.
04:40 You actually do wind up going to jail, and can live out some of your hard time, or you
04:45 can choose to meet your bail or attempt an escape.
04:52 Samsung Galaxy Note 7
05:01 In case you forgot about this embarrassment of a phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 gained
05:06 negative attention shortly after its launch in 2016, as users quickly reported their devices
05:12 heating up excessively.
05:14 Some went so far as to spontaneously combust.
05:18 Well, there is some use for this dysfunctional phablet in GTA V thanks to this mod.
05:31 Now you can throw Note 7s in place of sticky bombs and watch others explode from the phone's
05:37 horrible battery.
05:43 Psychokinesis
05:52 Now fair warning, this is still a work in progress, so if you choose to install this
05:57 and check it out for yourself, do consider that it may not work flawlessly.
06:02 Psychokinesis is exactly what it sounds like though.
06:07 You can wield all sorts of mental powers, you can push objects, crush people and vehicles,
06:13 mostly people, freeze time, and even set things on fire.
06:18 You are the ultimate life form.
06:27 The Agency
06:32 The premise of this mod is simple.
06:34 The Agency is looking for someone to do their dirty work and take down those who have not
06:38 pleased the powers that be.
06:41 Essentially, you have a whole new range of assassination missions at your disposal.
06:48 Just be aware that the stock market mechanic of the game's real assassination missions
06:52 have no functionality with this mod whatsoever.
06:55 But if being a cunning sneak was the best part of your GTA V experience, this one's
07:00 for you.
07:04 No Water + Tsunami + Atlantis
07:12 We've all wondered what a GTA game would look like if it were set in more of a fantasy
07:16 setting.
07:17 Well, this is the closest we may get.
07:20 This mod completely floods all of Los Santos and adds in sea life as well as settings to
07:25 affect the water levels.
07:31 You can even make it completely dry and explore the mythical lost city of Atlantis.
07:36 Los Santos is quite literally your oyster here.
07:40 Carmageddon 5
07:46 Assuming you were around when GTA 4 was getting what few mods were out in the wild, you know
07:51 what to expect here.
07:52 Carmageddon is one of the most famous GTA mods out there thanks to its chaotic and explosive
07:58 nature.
07:59 Install this, and every car will suddenly lose control the second you make a gentle
08:04 push on the gas.
08:06 Needless to say, it will be next to impossible getting to the next mission with your car
08:10 in one piece.
08:12 Or just using a car in general.
08:15 Dragons 5
08:21 Don't worry, this isn't another attempt for me to weasel in more dragon tales into
08:25 your second life.
08:26 This mod actually does what it sounds like it does.
08:29 You can finally fly around Los Santos on your very own dragon like the badass you are.
08:41 Okay maybe not, but seeing dragons fly around the real world city instead of seagulls, it
08:47 kind of gives us some Reign of Fire vibes.
08:49 Not a great movie by any stretch of the imagination, but we'd give this mod a go for the chaos.
09:00 Vehicle Cannon
09:07 Speaking of adding more chaos into our GTA 5 copy, the Vehicle Cannon does exactly what
09:12 the name implies.
09:14 Though it looks like any other weapon you would find in the game, one pull of the trigger
09:18 will launch any one of the many vehicles you can stumble upon.
09:25 Basically, there is nothing that can stand in your way when there are constant explosions
09:33 happening a few feet away.
09:35 Time to raise that wanted level.
09:37 Six stars, here we come.
09:44 Spider-Man 5
09:51 Now there are plenty of mods out there that can turn you into a friendly neighborhood
09:55 Spider-Man.
09:56 Many of them are simple skin mods, but with this one you get the whole package.

10:09 Web swinging, web shooting, even different suit modes and other powers.
10:14 Time to go enforce some vigilante justice the only way we know how.

10:30 Suppose you wanted to be the very best like no one ever was.
10:33 Well, catching them would be a real test, but to train them would be your cons.
10:38 You'd have to travel across Los Santos, searching far and wide.
10:43 Teach pedestrians to understand the power that's inside.
10:47 Yes, you're not catching pocket monsters in this mod, but pocket people.
10:53 Catch and train pedestrians to fight others in an effort to build your team and become
10:58 the best trainer in the Los Santos region.
11:04 Plains Hales
11:05 We've already given you plenty of suggestions for mods that add more chaos to your game.
11:16 What else could there possibly be?
11:18 Well, why not have planes dropping from the sky like dead flies?
11:23 Within a certain radius, this mod will cause planes to fall around you.
11:34 As a bonus, the mod was updated not too long ago to include a survival mode where you can
11:39 try to avoid waves of planes or outlast a time limit.
11:50 Alien Invasion War
11:58 Among the mods that breathe new life into Los Santos in-between missions, this was our
12:04 favorite.
12:05 Alien Invasion War makes the campaign way more arduous to progress through.
12:09 While you're busy committing heists, Los Santos PD will be busy fighting off an alien
12:14 invasion.
12:21 The army even gets involved as well, so be prepared for tanks and choppers to get thrown
12:26 into the mix.
12:34 GTA RPG
12:38 Though GTA does boast some light role-playing elements, it isn't enough to call it an
12:43 RPG.
12:44 This mod, on the other hand, changes that.
12:46 It throws in all the usual features you'd expect from your typical RPG.
12:50 Dialogue trees, skill trees, mods for cars, the arbitrary minigames, and a ton more.
12:56 Basically, you have a whole new game to experience.
13:03 Grand Theft Space
13:13 Space
13:14 It is often described as the Final Frontier, but we have one entry after this, so it's
13:19 far from the Final Frontier for GTA.
13:23 But we've desperately needed some crazy space missions in this franchise.
13:26 With this mod, you can live out that dream and explore the depths of our own solar system.
13:35 No missions are included, but if you have some modding experience, the modders behind
13:39 this do encourage you to integrate your own scripts and mods into it.
13:50 Chaos Mod 5
13:57 This is the ultimate GTA mod.
14:00 This is not to be confused with Carmageddon or the Chaos Mode mods.
14:04 Chaos Mod 5 is more anarchist than either of those could ever be.
14:10 When installed, this mod will be on a 30 second timer, triggering one of more than 300 effects
14:18 every half minute.
14:19 And if that isn't hell enough for you to deal with, you can customize the intervals
14:23 yourself to make effects less or more frequent.
14:27 Some effects are instant, some are lingering, some are explosive, some are harmless, you
14:32 never know what you are going to get.
