00:00 Hello again, welcome back, dear Survivors.
00:03 In today's episode of Watch to Survive,
00:11 we want to take a look at the most important buildings in your settlement.
00:15 How you upgrade them, their individual functionalities,
00:19 and what challenges you will be facing.
00:21 HQ.
00:23 So, let's start with the first most important building in the whole game,
00:28 the Headquarters, or just HQ.
00:31 A lot is connected to this building and its level.
00:34 For example, what events you can participate in,
00:38 what other structures you can build, or what troops you can train.
00:42 So, above all else, it's very important to upgrade the building constantly.
00:47 This upgrade will also give you various rewards and more options in the game,
00:52 such as increased combat power and access to more buildings in the settlement.
00:58 Your HQ can be upgraded to level 30,
01:01 and once 30 is reached, you can gain an additional 5 stars.
01:05 We will see what the future will bring,
01:08 and if any possibilities to upgrade even further.
01:11 To upgrade your Headquarters,
01:13 you always need to have two other buildings upgraded as well.
01:16 Those are mostly the Hero Precinct building and one other one,
01:21 depending on the Headquarters upgrade level.
01:25 You also need a certain level of Prosperity Points.
01:28 You will receive these points when upgrading various buildings
01:32 and decorating your settlement.
01:33 Oh, and there's so many nice decorations to choose from.
01:37 Try to keep your Prosperity status in the Green Zone,
01:44 because then you will gain advantages in troop training speed,
01:48 as well as your resource production rate.
01:52 And finally, you need resources like food, wood, metal, gas,
01:57 for every upgrade of each building.
02:00 Building things takes time,
02:02 but in the State of Survival world,
02:04 you can shorten build times by using speedups,
02:08 various settlement buffs,
02:10 and special technologies that you can research in your lab.
02:13 These settlement buffs give you an advantage over a certain period of time.
02:18 They are divided into two categories.
02:22 The first category is Combat.
02:24 For example, here you can find the Peace Flare.
02:29 That protects your settlement from attacks for 2, 8, or 24 hours.
02:34 There are also various boosts to your troops.
02:37 And the second category is the Development Buffs.
02:42 These increase the speed of your build or resource production.
02:46 All buffs can be acquired through Bio Caps,
02:50 and they start working right after you activate them.
02:52 Hero Precinct Building.
02:56 As already mentioned, the Hero Precinct Building is necessary to advance in the game.
03:01 Here you can locate and upgrade your heroes,
03:04 the leaders of your troops,
03:06 and consequently, your most important fighting asset.
03:08 The Hero Precinct Building also defines the maximum level limit of your heroes.
03:15 Heroes.
03:16 Now let's jump to the exciting part.
03:20 Heroes.
03:20 There are three kinds of heroes.
03:22 Elite heroes, which are blue.
03:25 Epic heroes, which are purple.
03:28 And Legendary heroes, which are gold.
03:30 These are divided into three different roles, like Riders, Brawlers, and Hunters.
03:37 I will dive further into this in another episode.
03:40 For now, we'll be focusing on improving the heroes' power and attributes.
03:46 Because you need to upgrade the hero's level and rank in order to survive.
03:50 Your hero starts as a Cadet, and hopefully makes it to a General.
03:55 And in order to get there, you need the Hero Fragments and Hero Badges,
04:00 of the same color as the hero.
04:02 The upper limit of a hero's level is determined by his rank.
04:06 When your hero reaches the rank of a General,
04:10 the hero can be upgraded to level 80, which is as high as it gets.
04:15 The Hero Precinct Building is one of the places where you can obtain
04:18 blue and purple hero fragments, with the Advanced and Epic Hero Search Maps.
04:24 You can do up to six free Advanced searches per day,
04:28 and one Epic Hero Search per two or three days,
04:32 based on your Hero Precinct Building level.
04:34 While you're searching regularly, the bar on top of the screen will fill up.
04:40 Once it's complete, you can open the crate.
04:43 Hopefully filled with a fragment of a Legendary Hero.
04:46 Other important methods of obtaining Hero Fragments and Badges for free are Intel Missions,
04:52 Plague Zone Events, and the Explorer Trail.
04:55 If you want to obtain higher quality fragments and badges, which are colored orange,
05:01 you can obtain them by joining Cooperative Alliance Events,
05:04 or Confrontational Events, such as Reservoir Raid,
05:10 Fortress Fight, Alliance Showdown, High-Level Plague Zone Maps, etc.
05:15 For more information on these topics, please visit the social media channels.
05:19 Explorer Trail
05:21 The Hero Precinct also features the Explorer Trail.
05:25 Here you can complete individual missions, one by one, and receive lots of rewards.
05:31 You can also find skill manuals here.
05:35 On the left, you can see the Squad Power requirement,
05:38 and on the right, your current Squad Power.
05:40 You also need Stamina for every challenge.
05:42 If your own Heroes are not strong enough for the challenge yet,
05:46 you can just borrow Heroes from your allies.
05:50 You can repeat the challenges on the Explorer Trail as often as you like,
05:55 as long as you have enough Stamina, which will refill automatically over time.
06:00 Some rewards are only given when you win the challenge the first time.
06:04 Others are given over and over again.
06:08 Since you will be fighting many battles, there's also an automatic mode which helps you.
06:12 Of course, in Manual Mode, you can have full control over your Hero's actions.
06:18 But sometimes it's nice to watch them at work.
06:20 You shouldn't leave them all alone, though,
06:23 as your two eyes naturally see more than the integrated AI.
06:27 Research Lab
06:29 Let's talk about another important building, the Research Lab.
06:34 There, you conduct research in various fields.
06:37 In a world close to extinction, research is extremely valuable.
06:42 There are three different trees of technology.
06:45 The first tree is Development.
06:48 By researching Development, you can shorten your construction and research time,
06:53 train more troops faster, and increase the number of troop marches.
06:56 The second tree is Economic Research,
07:00 which allows you to influence the speed of resource harvesting inside and outside your settlement.
07:06 The third branch is the Research of Combat.
07:09 Here, you can increase your troops' abilities, technical defense, and marching capacity.
07:15 Incubator
07:17 In the Research Lab, you can also use the Incubator.
07:21 Here, you can invest your Bio Caps if you don't need them at the moment.
07:25 Just like a bank, you can choose between different schemes
07:29 that increase the number of Bio Caps you invested from 5% to 50% over a period of 1 to 30 days.
07:37 Of course, there are also many other buildings that can help you with different needs and tasks,
07:42 like the three different training facilities and the four resource productions.
07:46 In a post-apocalyptic world,
07:49 a functioning hospital with enough space and capacities is incredibly important.
07:54 You will need it very often.
07:56 That's why you should always have it at the highest possible level to support your troops.
08:01 Now, I'm very sure you'll make a good chief for your settlement.
08:06 The number of your troops will grow steadily, your battle power will increase,
08:11 and maybe you will soon be the governor of your state.
08:15 That's all for today.
08:17 Looking forward to see you next time.
08:19 Goodbye, and stay alive.
