00:16 has saved her life also. In a post that Britney made on her official X account, she expressed
00:28 gratitude to her fans and she claimed that her book, The Woman In Me, has broken records
00:34 in the celebrity memoir genre.
00:43 This suggests that her memoir has outsold Prince Harry's book, Spare, which set a Guinness
00:48 World Record back in January of 2023 as the fastest selling non-fiction book ever with
00:56 1.4 million release day sales. And here's what Britney wrote on social media.

01:16 Britney is also set to make some bank from her book sales because she's entitled to 25%
01:23 of the book's net profits.
01:32 And this percentage will take into account the 12.5 million dollar advance that she received
01:37 for the book. Despite earlier reports saying that the advance was 15 million, it's now
01:43 confirmed that it was 12.5 million.
01:45 In the United States, The Woman In Me is currently retailing at Amazon at $23.05 and it's marked
01:53 down from the original price of $32.99. And the Kindle edition is available for $16.99
01:59 while the audio CD is priced at $29.69.
02:12 With over 400,000 copies sold on release day and the sales trajectory that people are seeing,
02:19 the book will set a record for sure.
02:30 So if we do the math guys, let's take the $23.05 for the hardcover copy alone and multiply
02:36 that by 400,000 copies sold, we have 9,222,000 in a single day. And this does not include
02:44 pre-sale numbers by the way, which saw 9 million copies being sold, as well as other formats
02:50 like audiobooks and the Kindle version.
02:52 There was also another post on the account BritneyTheStan on October 19th, 2023. And
02:59 this is what the post said.
03:00 Britney Spears has already broken the Guinness World Record for fastest selling non-fiction
03:05 book of all time, which was set by Prince Harry with 3 million copies in the first week.
03:11 #TheWomanInMe has already sold 9 million in pre-orders alone.
03:17 So guys if this is true, Britney Spears is literally smashing records.
03:23 And this is just at the time of recording this video, so the release day sales most
03:28 likely is going to go up, especially when the publishing company, Simon & Schuster,
03:33 reached the official report of like, this is the actual sales once we confirmed and
03:37 tallied everything.
03:42 With that said, of course the publishing company, Simon & Schuster, has to recoup the cost of
03:47 the $12.5 million that they already paid to Britney, plus other costs related to the production
03:52 and distribution of the book.
03:59 And then after that, Britney Spears will be getting 25% of the net sales profits.
04:05 Not bad at all guys, not bad at all.
04:07 We've seen Britney really set herself up on a whole new trajectory.
04:12 And it's definitely a career saver, and really a life saver.
04:16 A lot of people were concerned like she was going in the gutter.
04:18 This seems to be a big win for her and she really deserves it.
04:22 Britney is paying Kevin about $40,000 a month right now for the two boys, obviously with
04:26 Sean Preston turning 18 and graduating high school.
04:30 Especially when you consider that she's literally paying out $40,000 per month in
04:34 child support to her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
04:45 And also she's going through a divorce with Sam Asghari, which of course costs money.
04:50 Britney definitely knows that this is a big win for her, and even in her memoir she wrote
04:56 this, "In my 40s, I'm trying things for what feels like the first time.
05:00 I feel like the woman in me was pushed down for so long.
05:04 Now finally, I'm roaring back to life."
05:08 She also did say that she is, and I quote, "trying to rebuild my life day by day.
05:14 There's been a lot of speculation about how I'm doing.
05:18 I know my fans care.
05:20 I'm free now.
05:21 I'm just being myself and trying to heal."
