00:02 Well, well, well, what do we have here?
00:06 A 500 horsepower Cadillac and not a V badge in sight.
00:11 This is of course the Cadillac Lyrik,
00:13 only for 2024, we've got a dual motor version.
00:16 What we're learning rather rapidly here
00:24 is that EV power delivery really suits
00:27 these large vehicles that are aiming for a more luxurious
00:31 and refined driving experience.
00:34 To give it its full name,
00:35 this is the Cadillac Lyrik 600 4E.
00:38 Let's break that down.
00:39 Well, the E obviously stands for electric,
00:41 the four because it's all wheel drive.
00:44 And the 600, well, that's because this vehicle
00:47 has around 600 Newton meters of torque.
00:50 That's about 450 pound feet in old money.
00:54 It also has 500 horsepower,
00:56 which is being generated through those two electric motors
01:00 and the 102 kilowatt hour Ultium battery.
01:03 And what I think is brilliant is the torque and power
01:06 seem to have been tuned to come in gradually.
01:08 This is a more luxurious driving experience.
01:12 And I think that's exactly what Cadillac were going for.
01:15 New for 2024 are three distinctly different trim levels.
01:21 And those will come with different material
01:24 and fit and finish options.
01:25 This vehicle is fitted with the luxury trim
01:28 and you'd have to say it does what it says on the tin.
01:31 This is a very luxurious cabin I'm in,
01:33 especially when you consider the price.
01:35 I got a great big curved 33 inch screen.
01:39 I've got lots of buttons here for my HVAC.
01:41 I've got storage and cubbies everywhere,
01:44 leather, massaging, air conditioned seats.
01:47 It's very nice in here.
01:49 Cadillac have done a remarkable job
01:51 of making this car feel special
01:54 and crucially different enough
01:55 from their other stable of vehicles.
01:58 And let's not forget this car stickers for $69,000.
