00:00 Our goal has always been to make the roads in Little Harrodin safer for all road users.
00:09 To try to achieve this, our councillor set up a community speed watch, which she manages
00:16 and operates with a team of volunteers. This volunteer is Yvonne.
00:22 We have also operated a vehicle activated speed sign for many years and collected the data from these devices.
00:34 However, they were showing that these weren't being less of an impact.
00:42 We considered that we needed to apply it to something more modern with a new speed indicator device soon.
00:52 We are happy, sorry, with happy and grumpy, in the majority majority, that we were able to buy, thanks to the grant,
01:02 from the Office of Police and Fire Commissioner. We hope, we will hopefully help towards achieving our aim.
01:11 Without further ado, I'd like to open this on behalf of Little Harrodin Parish Council
01:19 and a thank you to Martin for organising our grant. I declare it open.
