00:03 - All right, so the other trade Montez Sweat
00:05 goes for a second round pick.
00:06 So people are looking at this saying to themselves,
00:09 what in the world here?
00:10 What do we think?
00:11 Do we think that Sweat was a better player than Chase Young?
00:14 I mean, you could actually make that case
00:15 based on production.
00:17 Some people felt the Bears, you know, did not do well here.
00:21 They traded too much.
00:22 Now I'm not a great judge of this Vinny,
00:23 you're probably better than me.
00:25 - Yeah, I think Montez Sweat,
00:27 I mean, their pass rush was atrocious.
00:29 I mean, they weren't getting the quarterback at all.
00:31 This means good things maybe for Jalen Johnson,
00:34 the corner, they didn't move him.
00:36 They asked if he wanted to be traded,
00:38 I guess he's staying put here.
00:39 So this bring in a pass rusher.
00:42 Look, this team is very young.
00:43 They have a lot of draft capital.
00:45 We know coming up,
00:46 they may or may not use that on a quarterback.
00:49 They do have a lot of money under their salary cap.
00:51 So why not take a shot on this, right?
00:53 You got two first rounders here.
00:55 So you can afford to spend a second rounder, right?
00:58 To improve your pass rush.
00:59 And he's a good complete player.
01:01 They can get him on the field for every down.
01:03 I think that's a big difference between him and Chase Young.
01:06 He's a little bit more established,
01:07 a little bit more productive,
01:08 and you can trust him as a starter.
01:10 So it comes down to just the way the money worked out.
01:13 And I think the Bears didn't want to rental.
01:16 I mean, that's what Chase Young might be for the 49ers,
01:18 but they wanted some guys
01:19 that they're gonna keep for the longterm.
01:20 And that's what Sweat represents.
