00:00 The inaugural Classics at Cobargo show was a revving success today with over 250 vehicles
00:06 on display and thousands raised for Cormore and Cobargo Public Schools.
00:11 Hosted by the Far South Coast Classics Car Club, the show featured an extensive variety
00:17 of vehicles from vintage cars of all makes and models to trucks, bikes and more.
00:22 Through event organiser Mel Britton, the event proved to be an even bigger success than she
00:28 ever imagined.
00:30 It's been big, huge.
00:34 We've had about close to 260 entrants all up and a massive day, massive.
00:45 Much bigger than I thought it would ever be.
00:49 Ms Britton said the weather had really played in their favour that day, with the rain holding
00:53 off just in time for people to collect their rewards and jump back into their cars.
00:59 But all in all it was a great day.
01:03 The market stall holders did well, everyone was happy, the kids had a ball and we haven't
01:09 got an exact total at the moment but we're pretty much able to say it'll be over $10,000
01:16 raised to go between the two schools.
