00:00 I'm delighted to announce today that United for Wildlife has led the creation of a world-first
00:05 international statement of principles agreed by governments to prevent, detect and deter
00:11 the financial activity that sustains the illegal wildlife trade. Signatories, including Australia,
00:18 Canada, New Zealand, the UK, the US, South Africa and Singapore, will commit to regular cooperation
00:26 to combat money laundering from transnational criminal syndicates engaged in the illegal
00:31 wildlife trade. I'm incredibly proud that our network has supported over 600 investigations,
00:37 nearly 300 seizures of illegal wildlife products and the training of over 110,000 people to tackle
00:44 wildlife crime. But our work is far from over. We must be more determined, more innovative
00:51 and more resourceful in the relentless pursuit of our mission to defeat this trade.
