00:00 He's repeatedly called this a witch hunt, but as he was sworn in and sat down in the
00:06 courtroom today, he had a very dour demeanour. This is not a televised trial, but reporters
00:13 are allowed in the room, and he is going to be testifying today. And we might expect him
00:21 to be more conservative with his words in court, because he is under oath. So if he
00:26 lies, then that's perjury. This is really our first chance to see him face tough questioning
00:33 in court. Now, this is a civil fraud case, but it will also give us a glimpse of how
00:39 he's going to be in court in those four criminal trials that are upcoming for Donald Trump.
00:44 He is, of course, known for spreading falsehoods, but he's going to be in trouble if he does
00:50 that whilst in court under oath. New York Attorney General Tish James, she already spoke
00:56 outside the courtroom before this hearing, and she said that we expect Trump to continue
01:02 to call this a witch hunt and even to do some race baiting. But at the end of the day, it's
01:08 the facts that matter and the facts that will speak in court. Now, the judge in this case
01:13 has already found him liable for fraud. So really now, what is going to be the question
01:19 is what his penalty will be and whether or not he will successfully appeal to be able
01:24 in future to do business in New York State.
