00:00 First of all, what a tremendous performance by the offensive line. I
00:04 think it's the best game you guys have had all year. Do you agree with that
00:06 assessment? Yeah, it felt like we kind of controlled the line scrimmage and that's
00:10 you know always a goal. Run game felt pretty good, kept Aiden clean, didn't
00:16 really have to drop back a lot so that's always a positive and it finally felt
00:20 like we controlled the game up front. Talk about the poise of the Rook. He
00:24 certainly has it and I was just talking to Nate Hobbs a minute ago and he goes
00:27 man that was what impressed me was his poise. What about you? Yeah, no I'm
00:32 definitely always impressed by Aiden. Got to remind myself that even though he's a
00:35 rookie I think he's like 25. He's a little bit older than your average rookie, a little bit more mature.
00:40 But you know he's could have asked for more for a guy in his second start
00:45 especially considering how his first start went. So you know he played really
00:50 well and I'm really proud of him. For you, I know that you're in the bubble but you're
00:54 not stupid. You were rated as one of the top guards last week in all the NFL. You
00:58 continually to play, you continue to play at a high level. For a guy who's a
01:03 seasoned veteran to be playing that well you got to be really proud of how you're
01:07 doing. Yeah I mean I always felt like the same player and every year you want to
01:12 continue to grow as a player and work on certain things. I was having a talk
01:17 this morning with one of our coaches just about like the confidence you get from
01:21 doing it and having success just gives you more confidence to try different
01:25 things and maybe get outside your comfort zone. I know what my age is
01:29 but I just feel like I'm still playing really really good ball. And you are.
01:32 Let's talk about Bo. I mean he only had four days. Clearly there were some new
01:37 things and there were some new things that didn't get shown tonight. So talk
01:42 about your impression of him. Aiden and AP certainly are super impressed. Yeah I
01:46 mean I've been around Bo for a little bit. We were together at the Jets so I
01:49 really respect him and his journey to get to where he is now and to call plays.
01:54 I think he called a really good game. Didn't feel like they ever
01:59 really had the upper hand against us on defense and a lot of variation in the
02:04 play call. A lot of kind of wrinkles in our scheme. So it was just he did a
02:10 really good job and hopefully we continue to grow from this and take
02:13 steps and evolve. All right now I've teased you in the past about I like
02:17 your aggressive attitude in the way you play and AP was that way as a player. He
02:23 was a lot very similar to you. Very physical. You know we can play football.
02:28 We can have an ass-whuppin. Whatever you want to do let's go. You're that way. So
02:32 what's it like to play for a coach who really is a lot like you? I mean it's
02:37 exciting you know especially playing for a former player is unique. I've never
02:43 been coached by somebody who's played at the level that he's played at. So he
02:48 knows what he's asking of you and he knows what it takes and there's a
02:53 respect there between player and coach and when you have a guy like that you
02:57 want to do well for him. So he came into a tough situation and he you know said
03:04 we're playing with house money and you know this is Vegas and we're all in. So
03:07 I'm happy for him and I'm happy to be a part of this team and you know felt like
03:12 things went well today. Two very important questions and I'll be
03:16 done. You guys are wrestling in the locker room this week and having fun. If
03:19 it was a WWE Smackdown I think it comes down to you and Parham. I'm gonna give
03:24 you the edge because you're the grizzled veteran. Is that fair?
03:29 Beware the old man in a professional and die young. So there's a reason I'm still around.
03:35 Lastly talking about having fun in the locker room. Could you take Devontae in
03:40 locker room basketball? Probably not. I saw that video of him hitting that
03:45 three. That's a tough hoop to shoot on so he can have that. Awesome, thanks.
