00:06 Who's got the sweetest disposition?
00:09 One guess, guess who?
00:12 Who never, never starts an argument?
00:15 Who never shows a bit of temperament?
00:18 Who's never wrong but always right?
00:21 Who'd never dream of starting a fight?
00:24 Who gets stuck with all the bad luck?
00:27 No one but Donald Duck!
00:30 [music]
00:32 Have you ever heard of a Boodle Beetle?
00:35 Well, confidentially, neither have we.
00:38 But it seems that long ago, these little creatures were plentiful.
00:42 But because of an inborn love for travel and adventure,
00:45 the Boodle Beetle is now a rare little bug.
00:48 The bug collector, er, the entomologist,
00:52 regards this little bug as a prize for his collection.
00:55 [music]
00:59 Going somewhere, sonny?
01:02 I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry if I were you.
01:06 There's danger lurking out in them woods,
01:09 and you're just setting yourself for a heap of trouble.
01:12 You know, there's not many of us Boodles left,
01:16 and it's just because too many of them have set out across that stream
01:20 and never come back.
01:22 And here you go, a-setting your cap for the same medicine.
01:26 Sit down, sonny, and let me tell you a story.
01:29 [music]
01:33 When I was a young pup and full of vinegar,
01:37 hee hee, just like yourself,
01:39 I had ideas of adventure, too.
01:43 So, I packed my bag and said goodbye to my home.
01:47 I'm a little funny about this sentimental stuff.
01:51 And set out for what was going to be the doggone-est adventure.
01:57 I'll have to admit, it was pretty fascinating at first.
02:01 [music]
02:14 Well, I never had anything like this happen.
02:17 Uh-oh. What's this?
02:19 Big, tall things that disappear in the sky.
02:24 [music]
02:40 Phew, a bug sure has to be careful when he's out looking for adventure.
02:45 But unknown to me at the time, there was lurking in the forest a horrible monster.
02:52 [music]
02:53 [grumbling]
02:59 [grumbling]
03:04 [grumbling]
03:07 Well, I guess I must have walked hundreds of miles that first day.
03:11 I was just picking them up and laying them down.
03:16 I just didn't feel up to it.
03:19 So, I thought I'd lay down for a little shut-eye and tackle it in the morning.
03:26 Well, suddenly I had the feeling I wasn't alone.
03:30 And there on top of the mountain I saw a most amazing thing.
03:35 Well, being a curious little fellow, I decided to investigate.
03:39 And there it was. A horrible monster millions of feet high.
03:44 I sneaked out to get a better look and suddenly it moved.
03:48 Huh?
03:49 I looked again. Two hideous eyes glared at me.
03:54 [music]
03:59 A booger-bigger. That's him.
04:01 Hurrah! I got him! I got him!
04:04 [laughing]
04:05 Come on, Snowfly. That's not much time.
04:09 [laughing]
04:11 [screaming]
04:12 Oh, no, you don't, you little shrimp. You'll never get away from us again.
04:16 [music]
04:19 [grunting]
04:20 [music]
04:21 [explosion]
04:22 I'll get you, you little brat.
04:24 [music]
04:32 What?
04:33 [music]
04:47 Phew.
04:49 [music]
04:53 Boo!
04:54 [music]
04:55 That's it. How do you like it, Snowy?
04:58 [laughing]
05:01 [laughing]
05:03 [unintelligible]
05:06 [music]
05:07 So, there I was. Headed for I don't know what.
05:12 It was simply terrifying.
05:15 I tried again and again to escape.
05:17 [barking]
05:18 But it was no use.
05:20 [panting]
05:21 If only I had listened to Mama.
05:23 Just think of it. The famous Professor Duck.
05:28 Oh, boy. I had just got bored of it.
05:32 Now what?
05:33 [slurping]
05:34 The door opened, and there he was.
05:37 Suddenly I realized that this was my last chance.
05:40 It was now or never.
05:42 He's gone.
05:44 [music]
05:51 [barking]
05:53 [barking]

06:07 [barking]
06:08 [music]
06:16 Well, sir, I was one happy little bug.
06:19 And do you think I cared what folks thought about the sentimental stuff?
06:24 No, sirree.
06:28 So you see, Sonny, home isn't such a bad place after all.
06:34 [music]
06:38 [laughing]
06:40 I was just thinking.
06:43 For all I know, that monster may be looking for me yet.
06:47 [thud]
06:50 Oh, look out, there you go. That's what you like, son, I know.
