00:02 >> Elsewhere DRS, as we roll around the association last night,
00:07 entering last night, only one unbeaten team remaining.
00:11 And that has now come to a close.
00:13 Everybody in the NBA has recorded at least one loss this year,
00:18 as the Timberwolves beat the Celtics in overtime, 114-109.
00:23 Minnesota handing Boston its opening loss of the year.
00:26 Minnesota winning outright at home, Donnie, has only a two and a half point underdog.
00:31 >> Yeah, huge performance, opened up the show in seven and seven,
00:33 talking about this game and saying, you're right.
00:35 Hey man, Celtics, can they go 82 and 0?
00:37 Yeah, we're joking about that.
00:38 But they looked really good over the first five games here, finally taking a loss.
00:42 And also, when you look at the Celtics lineup, so
00:44 many times you just look at that box and you're like, let me get this right.
00:47 The Celtics actually lost, Tatum with 32, Brown with 26, Porzingis with 12,
00:52 Holiday with 20, and then Holiday with 12 points.
00:55 How did that happen?
00:56 Well, you flip it over to Anthony Edwards, the young superstar for
00:58 the Timberwolves.
00:59 He handled his business last night, Ben.
01:01 He actually shot 25 times from the floor, but he made 15 of those,
01:04 which included only two of eight from three-point range, nine rebounds in that
01:08 game, 38 total points, and a plus 18 performance.
01:12 You're gonna get seven out of Carl Anthony Towns and
01:14 still win that basketball game in overtime against the best right now in the NBA.
01:19 That's really impressive here.
01:20 And also, the Timberwolves, Ben, moved to four and 0 at home.
01:23 That's protecting your home court right there.
01:26 And they have covered in all four of those home games as well.
01:29 Donnie, I think that's the picture for this Minnesota side.
01:33 Anthony Edwards being ball dominant, but taking advantage.
01:36 He has scored 31 or more in half of Minnesota's games this year.
01:40 That's three of six.
01:41 Last night, a game high, 38 points for Ant.
01:45 And you had Jason Tatum have 32, and Jalen Brown, 26, and Christoph Porzingis, 20.
01:51 So the big three for Boston all over their points prop.
01:55 Donnie, that was the shortest spread in favor of the Celtics last night,
02:00 all year long, just two and a half in favor of Boston on the road.
02:04 Some respect to the Timberwolves, who have handled their business in the Twin Cities.
02:09 Boston over in four straight games entering last night, despite going to overtime.
02:14 That game does actually end up over as well by just about a point and a half.
02:20 So you see, Donnie, some of those spread metrics starting to work for
02:24 Minnesota and that respect for the Teewolves last night.
02:28 Again, a perfect four and O at home and four and O against the number.
