Transcript
00:00 We're here with the amazing Chrissy Metz, who wrote a book,
00:04 who is in the most celebrated drama on network television,
00:07 who is a vision in the beautiful green dress that she has.
00:11 So tell me a little bit about how
00:13 it's evolved with the ensemble.
00:14 I mean, you guys have now been together for three years plus.
00:17 And you probably have some rivalries, some enemies
00:20 that you've made along the way.
00:21 Which is bananas.
00:22 People are like, you guys are really friends?
00:23 I'm like, we really are.
00:25 We really care about each other.
00:27 I ask so many of them for advice.
00:28 Like, they're my friends.
00:30 What is a night like this for you guys?
00:33 How do you guys-- do you stick together, get together,
00:35 after the show is the after party?
00:37 After the party is the hotel lobby, right?
00:40 You know, we just sort of support each other
00:42 and cheer each other on from every single place
00:45 that we see one another.
00:46 And it's just nice to be celebrated and even recognized
00:49 with all these other cable shows.
00:51 I mean, there's so much.
00:52 There's so many rules that we have to kind of write.
00:54 And we have to write for commercials.
00:56 And we can't talk about some things.
00:58 And we only have 42 minutes.
01:00 There's so many things that we're sort of up against.
01:02 And to be a part of it is really wonderful.
01:05 We love you being a part of our show right now.
01:07 Thank you so much.
01:08 I know you were like running.
01:09 You're like, guys, it's hot.
01:10 It's hot.
01:11 Make sure you drink water.
01:12 I don't know.
01:12 It's too late.
01:13 What you're saying now--
01:14 It's too late?
01:15 It's never too late.
01:16 I think we've already suffered heat stroke.
01:19 But on that note--
01:20 If you pass out, I'm taking your behind to the hospital.
