We left the haunted mansion to meet Paul from Pauls High Performance at the Arlington Heights Racetrack to do a little tuning on the Mustang.
Transcript
00:00 Hi, I'm Paul from Poleside Performance over in Jackson, Michigan.
00:13 We're here on the '04 Hot Rod Power Tour.
00:16 We're in Chicago, Illinois.
00:18 We have the Fram Air Hog Mach 1 Mustang here, and we're going to be doing some real simple
00:23 modifications today.
00:24 And we're going to have a plenum spacer.
00:26 It raises the cover of the intake plenum about 3/8 of an inch.
00:30 Then we're going to be doing some custom programming.
00:33 We're talking about 10 to 15 horsepower at the rear wheel, and about 15 to 18 foot-pounds
00:37 of torque.
00:38 Okay, so now we're going to plug it in the OBD2 port for the tuner.
00:42 You heard it click on.
00:43 That means it's fired up.
00:56 And what we've done is put a custom file in here just specific for this Mach 1.
01:03 Okay, the tuning's in.
01:08 All complete.
01:09 Mods are done.
01:10 There we go.
01:11 Ready to lay rubber.
