00:08 Sandra Schfrat might have been born with greyhound racing in her blood,
00:12 but now she is joining with participants right across NSW in an exciting new race towards the future.
00:19 The third generation participant is one of those who is embracing the new GWIC digital eTrack portal.
00:26 eTrack offers participants a quick, easy and secure way to make all their transactions online.
00:32 eTrack is like a one-stop shop which is accessible 24/7.
00:36 The world-first technology eTrack uses also means paperwork is no longer required,
00:41 and with a new smartphone app participants can use it on the go as well.
00:45 Hi, I'm Sandra and I'm the co-owner and manager of Sunny Lodge Greyhound Education Centre.
00:52 I grew up in the sport as a third generation now trainer.
00:56 My grandparents Peg and Bill Miller started in the industry following down to my parents Dennis and Ann,
01:03 and now my husband and I, Chris, along with our children and also my sister and my brother-in-law Jason are also involved in greyhounds.
01:12 Everyone is so time poor at the moment and to be able to use eTrack where everything's in one site, one page, it's easy, it's clear.
01:21 I've really enjoyed it. We registered a litter of pups the other day. It honestly took five minutes maximum.
01:27 I think anything new can sometimes be scary, but just go on the site and you'll notice that everything's in tab form.
01:34 It's all laid out easy visually. It's great. It's uncomplicated.
01:40 I can do it on a phone anywhere. If I think of something that needs to be done or a registration or I need to change over any paperwork,
01:48 I can just do it on my phone wherever I am.
01:51 It's extremely valuable because we all have smartphones. Everyone has a phone in their pocket.
01:56 We use it for all different things. So why not use it for greyhound racing and making it easier and more communicable and visually correct.
02:04 We will have questions that we need to ask and things that we may not understand.
02:09 GWIC has really played a huge part of the greyhound industry.
02:14 There's guidelines, there's code of practice that we all have to abide by and then there's support if we need it.
02:21 Sign up now because then you'll be familiar with it.
02:24 If you have any questions, you have time to get the support that you need.
02:28 If you need to take on a transfer or take on a dog, then you have time to understand what you're doing and get it all right.
