00:00 Hi everyone, my name's Jack Marshall, I'm a digital reporter for the Lancashire Post
00:03 and I'm here in Chorley to come to Lockdown Burger to check out one of their newest offerings
00:07 which is a Sunday Roast Yorkshire Kebab.
00:09 So let's check out and see how they do it.
00:11 Founded by chef Cameron Norris, Lockdown Burger has taken Chorley by storm
00:16 and has recently started offering Sunday Roast as part of the ever-growing menu as well.
00:21 I'm here with Harry from Lockdown Burger who's going to talk us out how he makes a Sunday dinner kebab.
00:27 Yeah, Sunday roast.
00:29 Go for it Harry.
00:30 Right, so first off we start with all of our spreadable stuff.
00:34 Kind of acts as like a base and a foundation of our Sunday roast kebab.
00:39 Do like one half stuffing and then the other half mash.
00:48 Two of the best spreadable things on this earth.
00:51 Absolutely.
00:52 Come with the mash.
00:53 Nice, fluffy, buttery mash.
00:57 [MASHING]
01:03 Then we'll start going on with the veg.
01:07 So we've got our honey roasted parsnips.
01:10 Oh, have a check, come on.
01:11 [CHIME]
01:12 Also with our honey roasted carrots to go on alongside.
01:19 Got your sweets.
01:25 As well as your roasted beetroot.
01:33 Some stuff.
01:35 So everything here gets like double roasted as well, so it's already been cooked and then it goes in again.
01:40 So it's all been roasted and then when it comes to getting it all back up to temperature,
01:46 same method, we'll just roast it up again.
01:48 Have the meats roasted prior and we'll whack it in our gravy that we make on the day to rehydrate it all back up.
01:59 Brilliant.
02:00 Got your roasties.
02:02 You're not missing for stuff in these, are you?
02:07 No, no, proper fat onesies.
02:10 Like near impossible to wrap them up.
02:12 I was going to say, I'm looking forward to seeing how you're going to wrap these up.
02:15 Oh, I do like a good wrap, like burritos, wraps, everything like that.
02:21 Wraps from home.
02:22 Wraps from home.
02:23 We've got our meats.
02:26 We do normally a mix of gammon and beef.
02:31 Brilliant.
02:34 Tiny bit of gravy.
02:46 It's all very moist.
02:48 It's got a lot of flavour just bursting out there, so we just add a little bit of gravy just to bring it all together.
02:53 It calls to wrapping up the main event.
03:09 Look at that.
03:10 He's a professional.
03:12 That's one wrapped up.
03:29 And then these will get whacked on a tray into the oven.
03:45 Couple of minutes in there.
03:46 Couple of minutes in there, then we'll get whacked into these boxes.
03:50 And they'll have roast potatoes on the bottom, pot of gravy on top, ready to go to your customer.
03:57 Perfect.
04:01 Finishing touches.
04:03 Pot of gravy there.
04:08 And there you have it.
04:11 Couple of Sunday dinner Yorkshire kebabs ready to go.
04:14 We are.
04:30 With orders coming in all the time, it's not hard to see why these new offerings are proving very popular indeed.
