00:00 situation in Gaza is absolutely devastating. Every day the trauma, I haven't had a day
00:07 where I haven't been thinking about it and I'm sure everyone is like that and everyone it's in
00:12 your mind, it is there all the time because that's suffering, the human suffering, the reports,
00:18 every night on the news we're seeing what's happening there and it has to stop, we have to
00:24 find a way to get peace, we've got to get those hostages out, we've got to get peace in that
00:30 region and CAIR is doing his utmost to try and get with international partners to get this
00:40 humanitarian aid into Gaza, that is the number one thing that needs to happen at the moment is we need
00:46 people to be able to get that humanitarian aid and that suffering to stop innocent Palestinian
00:55 children, the hostages are in Gaza, we need to get that aid into those people, the situation
01:04 on the ground is so desperate we're seeing it on our TV screen so I understand colleagues who
01:11 who are saying we need to immediately get this situation under control and that's why the Prime
01:16 Minister said it, CAIR said it, the US hopefully are pushing we need humanitarian aid, we need that
01:25 humanitarian pause to stop the violence, the bombs and to get aid to the people that need it most.
