Murder on St Malley's Day (2002) (Part 2)

Part 2 of the murder mystery. DCI Tom Barnaby and his wife happen to be at the St Malley's Day race when one of the boys is stabbed during the race. The boy had suffered the loss of his grandfather the previous day, but there seems to of been much more troubling him over the last few weeks. As Barnaby and Troy investigate, they have to establish just why a schoolboy was murdered - and if the answer to the mystery lies at the school's mysterious 'Pudding Club', or in the village itself...

This is an episode from the 5th series of Midsomer Murders and stars John Nettles, Daniel Casey, Desmond Barrit, Nicholas Audsley, Jeremy Child, Peter Wright, Jane How, Patrick Godfrey, Thom Fell, Bob Mason, Victoria Shalet and Anna Maxwell Martin. I love the humour in this, especially the scene when Barnaby asks Victoria Shalet's character where Dudley Carew is at his home and her reply. Considering what later happens to Carew, it's black humour indeed!
