00:00 Hey, hey, you, yeah.
00:03 I'm Stilo Pram and welcome to my mind massage.
00:07 I'm gonna take you through a sound journey
00:09 using some of my favorite things.
00:11 (air whooshing)
00:15 (squeaking)
00:17 (water pouring)
00:20 (air whooshing)
00:28 We got some sunset right here, you know.
00:31 I be out in the club sometimes drinking this.
00:33 Looking like a don.
00:35 The reason I selected this is because
00:37 I have a very popular, very cool podcast
00:40 called Wine and Weed.
00:42 We've been on hiatus, but we're bringing it back.
00:46 So I thought we'd start this off with some wine.
00:49 For wine and weed, baby.
00:50 I'm not that good at opening wine, actually.
00:56 (thumping)
00:59 No matter how much money you make in life,
01:01 it's still difficult.
01:02 I kinda want to be a sommelier,
01:09 but I'm a long way away as y'all can see.
01:11 (thumping)
01:17 Yeah, there we go.
01:24 The sound was still amazing, though.
01:26 Cheers.
01:34 I got started from doing music, actually.
01:39 I used to A&R.
01:40 I started A&R when I was around 18, 19.
01:44 Before that, I interned at Clear Channel,
01:46 worked in radio, and then from there,
01:49 I did one year in college,
01:50 and I was working as an intern for Songbook Atlantic.
01:55 And I started to work in A&R
01:58 and wanted to really be in music.
02:00 From there, I moved out to LA.
02:03 After one year of being in college,
02:05 I end up meeting a dude because I was working in music
02:09 with his cousin in the studio by the name of Rob Dyrdek.
02:14 I wish it was a better story than this,
02:16 but it was by chance.
02:17 He walked in and said, "Dude, you're hilarious."
02:21 I agree.
02:23 So, after he said that, he said,
02:25 "I have a show I just sold.
02:28 "I would love for you to be my host on the show."
02:30 I just met this dude.
02:32 I didn't believe him,
02:34 but three months later, he called me.
02:36 Voila, we started Ridiculousness, and here we are.
02:40 Ooh, if my life were a song,
02:43 what would it be?
02:45 Kanye West, we major.
02:47 The old Kanye, of course.
02:49 We major just used to make me feel amazing.
02:51 You know what I'm saying?
02:52 Those horns in there that make me feel so triumphant,
02:55 and if nothing else, we major, baby.
02:58 Remember that.
02:59 We major.
03:01 I have a song called "Yellowtail Sashimi"
03:05 with Currency, Spitta, and it's amazing.
03:08 I don't know.
03:09 This past year, I started dropping music for myself.
03:12 It's a tune that has horns and pianos.
03:16 A lot of my stuff I do has real instrumentation in it.
03:18 It feels sexy.
03:19 It feels smooth.
03:21 It feels like you're on a water somewhere.
03:23 Stream that if you haven't already.
03:25 I'm not really an ASMRer, but I saw people hit the bag.
03:35 So I'ma hit the bag, y'all.
03:37 'Cause I wanna be a part of the clan.
03:40 Let's do it.
03:41 I'm more of a sour jelly bean guy myself,
03:44 but I'm willing to eat this today for you.
03:47 30 flavors is a lot of flavors.
03:52 I'm scared they're gonna pop out.
03:57 They did not.
03:59 It's like all you can smell is the popcorn one.
04:06 Every time, the popcorn one is jumping out the bag.
04:10 I don't want it.
04:11 I like regular popcorn.
04:13 (bag crinkling)
04:16 This red one can't be too bad.
04:19 It wasn't too bad.
04:27 It was a big red cinnamon.
04:29 Not my favorite either.
04:31 I'ma try it again, y'all.
04:33 Blueberry.
04:40 Pretty safe.
04:41 Enjoyable.
04:42 I don't remember anything from filming "Ridiculousness."
04:46 MTV has us trapped in a dungeon, guys.
04:49 They don't let us out.
04:51 I've been filming 1,500 episodes nonstop.
04:56 This is my first glance at the sun in a while.
04:59 No, actually, I've had some favorite guests
05:02 on "Ridiculousness," of course.
05:04 The late Mac Miller was amazing.
05:07 Lil Jon, T-Pain, Kobe Bryant, obviously.
05:11 Amazing.
05:12 Larry King.
05:14 That was crazy.
05:16 It's all a thrill.
05:17 Every single day is fun, I promise.
05:19 People don't think I actually control the videos.
05:23 It's a remote control, guys.
05:25 It's not the hardest thing to do.
05:28 If I was to create a super group
05:30 of my two favorite rappers,
05:33 I'ma be lame and just say,
05:35 I'ma give it to Kendrick and Cole
05:37 and let them be a super group.
05:38 I would love that, you know?
05:39 They was supposed to give us an album
05:41 and it never came.
05:42 If y'all watching this, we still want that.
05:44 My favorite album of all time
05:47 is between "Get Rich or Die Tryin'"
05:51 and "Confessions."
05:54 But those are just about more of my experience growing up.
05:59 Those just take me back to a time and place
06:02 in which I was probably my happiest.
06:04 No bills.
06:05 They don't tell you kids, you're gonna get bills.
06:08 Life is gonna get hard.
06:10 This was prior to all of that.
06:12 So I was able to really enjoy the music in a different way.
06:17 But "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" was very impactful.
06:19 50 Cent really shook up the music industry, as they say.
06:24 And made what I would call a perfect album.
06:27 And then "Confessions,"
06:29 you should just get the Chicago juke parties going, boy.
06:33 That's what it's made for.
06:40 This is bath water.
06:42 Alkaline water.
06:44 Some of the best water in the world.
06:45 I love bath water.
07:02 It is honestly my favorite water.
07:04 [water splashing]
07:06 That was so refreshing.
07:16 It really was.
07:17 It's pretty hot in here.
07:18 But this just solved everything.
07:20 Oh my God.
07:27 Oh my God.
07:28 Amazing.
07:30 If I could give a TED Talk on anything,
07:35 I would give it on motivation.
07:38 I think it starts from within.
07:40 I think a lot of motivational speakers are cons.
07:43 And for me, I feel like I would give
07:45 a really good motivational speech
07:47 because I'm good at putting things together
07:50 and kinda conning.
07:51 So that's probably why I would give a great
07:55 motivational speech about everything being within, honestly.
08:00 If I could collab with any rapper dead or alive,
08:04 it would obviously be Chinky
08:06 because he's the greatest rapper of all time
08:09 and people don't put enough respect on Chinky's name.
08:12 That was a chicken head.
08:17 Sorry, Chinky, I'm gonna pass.
08:23 That wasn't my real answer.
08:25 My collaboration with any rapper, probably Jay-Z.
08:30 He's Jay-Z.
08:31 I don't need to say much else.
08:32 Next thing I'm gonna do for y'all,
08:35 let's make some guacamole.
08:37 They didn't ask me what my recipe was or anything, guys.
08:41 They just brought me ingredients.
08:43 But we're gonna do it anyway.
08:45 Hope you like guacamole.
08:47 I love guacamole.
08:52 Also, y'all, I don't like cutting on camera
08:55 'cause I'm possibly the worst cutter in the world.
08:58 People are always afraid I'm gonna lose a finger,
09:00 but guess what?
09:02 They're all here.
09:03 Oh.
09:10 That's rich.
09:12 That's a nice, fresh onion, y'all.
09:15 I've never stripped an onion on camera.
09:20 This is crazy.
09:22 I'm not gonna lie to y'all.
09:26 This is a lot of pressure.
09:28 I'm not even sure I just did DDD with Guy Fieri recently,
09:33 and it was way less pressure than this.
09:37 I should probably start with the avocados,
09:38 if I'm being honest, to put 'em in a bowl.
09:40 I'm all here ass-backwards, y'all.
09:43 Never cooked, sitting down, and with this many cameras
09:47 blowing on every group and start again.
09:49 (crew laughing)
09:51 I'm back.
09:52 Okay.
09:59 Get all that out there first.
10:01 If I could create a festival lineup,
10:05 the headliner, probably Marvin Gaye.
10:08 I be feeling like Marvin sometimes on my fits,
10:13 a little swaggy,
10:14 but Marvin was all about bringing the people together.
10:18 What's going on?
10:19 Tell me what's going on.
10:24 (upbeat music)
10:29 I thought that was too loud, but that's what we here for.
10:31 I love cilantro.
10:32 Do you know there's people out there
10:34 who think cilantro tastes like soap?
10:36 They're not to be trusted.
10:38 One of 'em just turned his head at me, I know for a fact.
10:42 Okay, we getting somewhere.
10:47 This a nice knife, too.
10:48 Y'all get money at Fuse, I see.
10:53 I'm gonna put some of my guac dough.
10:59 I'm gonna start mixing some.
11:02 Very simple, very cliche, but always bet on you, baby.
11:08 Always bet on you and believe in yourself.
11:10 You can do whatever you believe you can do.
11:14 That sounds crazy and just, again, cliche,
11:17 but somebody gotta be delusional and somebody gotta do it.
11:21 Ready Player One was pretty cool, you know?
11:36 I would love to just live full-time,
11:39 Oculus-ed up in the world.
11:41 That'd be pretty cool.
11:43 (scoffs)
11:45 Oh yeah, get that lime juice all in there.
11:51 My go-to song to sing in the shower
11:59 is probably "New York" by Frank Sinatra
12:03 or "Singin' in the Rain."
12:06 I like to do random New York-sounding,
12:11 old 1920s white man voices in the shower.

12:22 and I'm skipping down and a rat just ran across my foot,
12:25 but he can't stop the pimpin', I promise.
12:37 The moment of truth to see if it's hittin'.
12:41 There it go.
12:42 Aye, okay, it ain't bad.
