00:00 262 organisations across the UK have been awarded the first ever 'King's Award' for

00:06 voluntary service, the equivalent of an MBE, and the highest award given to local volunteer

00:12 groups in recognition of their outstanding community service.

00:16 The Friends of Rounday Park Group is one of the Leeds recipients, with their volunteers

00:20 undertaking litter picking, fundraising, forest schools and garden management all year round.

00:26 They met to celebrate the achievement in the Rounday Fox.

00:30 Elsewhere in Leeds, Tina and Aki Suryavansi, who run Homeless Hampers, have also received
