00:00 Hi, it's Alex here and today you join me in the heart of the majestic Wye Valley where
00:10 we're here to see this detached cottage which boasts up to five bedrooms as well as

00:32 So today we start the tour in the original part of this property which has been opened

01:21 to the rear gardens, an ideal space for enjoying a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening.
01:26 In addition to this room there are four further bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. Three
01:35 of the bedrooms are all doubled in size with the fourth room making an ideal home office
01:40 with all of the bedrooms enjoying views over the valley and surrounding countryside.
01:53 Coming back down onto the ground floor you now come into the extended part of the property

03:26 border between England and Wales. It is an area which saw the beginnings of the Industrial
03:30 Revolution and is also said to be the birthplace of British tourism during the 19th century.
03:35 Tinton is most famous for its historic abbey that was occupied by Cistercian monks up until
03:40 the 16th century wherein in the years to follow it would fall into the majestic ruin that
03:44 we see today. I'm really taken with Yew Tree Cottage. Situated in the Wye Valley with a
03:51 backdrop of the Forest of Dean in the distance this property is a fantastic family home offering
