Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. 00:25 and being able to kind of throw it back at them.
00:27 Because looking at me, they were thinking,
00:29 she does not speak Neapolitan, and I do, which is so much fun.
00:32 I was able to speak to the older women that were there,
00:35 the old ladies and old men that were there.
00:37 And they know it so well.
00:39 And they were also really used to American sets coming
00:42 through, because the last couple of years,
00:44 there have been other productions taking place there.
