00:05 camps in southern Gaza, waiting for permission to cross the border into Egypt.
00:10 They are Palestinian-Swedish citizens.
00:13 Liad came to Gaza to do research for his doctoral studies.
00:16 He was only meant to stay a few months.
00:18 He, his wife and children told your news correspondent Nabil Hajjo.
00:23 "I want to travel, but I'm waiting for the road to open up and for my children to live
00:30 in safety in the place they were in.
00:32 They were crying every day, 'Mama, take us to Sweden.'
00:35 They are children, they don't understand the situation.
00:38 They think it's easy to travel.
00:40 My children cry every day.
00:42 They look at the pictures and cry.
00:44 'Why did you bring us to Gaza?
00:46 Why did you bring us to this place?
00:48 Everything is broken.'
00:49 "We are searching for safety so we can sleep and take a shower.
00:52 It's hard.
00:53 When I go to the supermarket, I find it empty.
00:56 The water is contaminated with germs and diseases.

01:05 While the family is desperate to escape the suffering of the refugee camp, leaving Gaza

01:14 "It's very hard for me to leave Gaza Strip and to leave my family.

01:25 What I mean is that as a Swedish, I have the ability to leave Gaza Strip.
