00:01 You know, for a premiership, it's like having it in a suit.

00:03 The size of the sanction, which is unprecedented,

00:09 and it's quite shocking.

00:10 It appears to me that the Premier League have attempted

00:13 to use a sled jammer to crack a nut.

00:40 One that's left me incredibly angry and frustrated,

00:45 and I don't just believe that it will be Evertonians who

00:49 are angry and frustrated.

00:51 It seems as if Everton Football Club have been made scapegoats.

00:55 If something got worse, it could be construed

00:59 as a minor misdemeanor.

01:02 There is no doubt that Everton were not run particularly well

01:04 during the period, and that's blindingly obvious

01:07 by the on-field performances.

01:09 But we're also getting beaten with a baseball bat

01:11 because the Premier League want to try and play politics

01:16 and seek to avoid an independent regulator.

01:34 I don't think there's ever a better set of circumstances

01:43 to actually be involved in a siege mentality.

02:15 And also, you know, around Everton Football Club,

02:17 and we've been trying to sort of stay calm

02:21 within lots of different challenges here.

02:23 I think we mostly have done trying

02:26 to get things right on the pitch or better, certainly,

02:29 and trying to improve other areas of the club.

02:31 And there's so much noise here, to be honest,

02:33 that it's just another part of it.
