00:02 It's been a disaster for the Panthers.
00:04 I mean, starting anyone on their offense is a challenge and for
00:07 Dallas, it's pretty much all hands on deck.
00:09 >> Yeah, what do you mean disaster?
00:11 They'll get the number one pick.
00:13 They won't get the number one pick.
00:15 They traded that.
00:16 Yeah, yeah.
00:17 Rough season for Carolina, really.
00:19 And you don't worry about Frank Reich and his job, especially, man.
00:24 If they can't develop Bryce Young, he keeps looking this poor.
00:26 And listen, I understand we're in the microwave society.
00:29 We want everything now, now, now.
00:30 We want everybody to be playing up to their capabilities right away.
00:33 Quarterback's a tough position.
00:34 It does take some time here.
00:35 But it's a little embarrassing that the quarterback we just talked about,
00:38 CJ Stroud, looks, I mean, ten times better than Bryce Young.
00:42 I don't think things get better on Sunday for Carolina.
00:44 If you're looking for a play to start on Carolina, I mentioned Theolan,
00:47 cuz I think they'll have their opportunities.
00:49 They're gonna be trailing, so they'll throw the ball.
00:51 So I like Theolan here.
00:52 I think they'll try and run with Hubbard.
00:54 That's always the game plan when you think you're gonna get killed against
00:58 a good offensive strength, keep them off the field and run the ball.
01:00 And Dallas has their issues against the run at times here, but
01:04 that's only when they respect the passing game.
01:06 And they're not gonna respect the passing game here.
01:08 So I don't think this is gonna go well for Carolina at all.
01:12 I really, listen, in the perk world, it's Theolan or Bost, and
01:15 that's all I wanna start there.
01:16 For the Cowboys, I mean, who aren't you starting, right?
01:19 It's one of those games where if you're not starting, boy,
01:21 you have a really good team, or why is the guy on your team if you can't start him?
01:26 I understand Cooks is boom or bust.
01:27 So maybe he's a guy we can talk about here, right?
01:29 Big game against the Giants last week, 173 yards.
01:32 He's not gonna do that again, not this week.
01:34 But I think once again, the ball's gonna be thrown to him.
01:38 Dallas is a passing team right now.
01:40 The running game, as we talked about earlier in the show,
01:42 just hasn't been there.
01:43 I think they'll try and fix it in this game.
01:45 I think Carolina are not good against them.
01:47 Carolina's actually better against the pass, by the way.
01:49 Now that can be skewed somewhat because they're trailing by so
01:51 much in the second half, teams aren't throwing the ball anymore.
01:54 So they run the ball more, so keep that in mind here.
01:56 I think Dallas will try and get Pollard fixed in this game.
01:59 But as I mentioned earlier, Craig, they play four days later.
02:02 I don't think they're looking to destroy the Panthers like they did the Giants.
02:05 There's a couple of reasons why they did that to the Giants.
02:07 One, they don't like the Giants, all right, they just don't.
02:10 Two, I think McCarthy was worried that in an earlier games this year when Dallas
02:13 has destroyed an opponent and he did take out the starters,
02:16 they had a letdown the next week.
02:18 The Cardinals game, to be specific, by the way.
02:22 And I think he's looking to avoid that.
02:24 I don't think he'll look to avoid that this week because they're playing four
02:26 days later.
02:28 So I think that's something to keep in mind.
02:29 I don't think Pollard's gonna see his full complement of snaps and
02:32 touches, assuming this game gets out of hand in the third quarter.
