00:00 I think Randor should be looking at resumes before he starts hiring on new help.
00:05 Here's a look at the Mattel Master Universe Origins Snakemen Infiltrator Slithering Spy in Disguise.
00:28 Posing as an Eternian Royal Guard, the Snakemen Infiltrators silently sneak around to take out heroes.
00:35 You know, I can't quite place, but there's something off with his face.
00:38 Before, of course, we get a closer look at the Master Universe Origins Snakemen Infiltrator, let's grab the tape measure and see how tall the figure stands.
00:44 This, by the way, marks the last figure we've looked at from this wave.
00:47 I took a bit of a break because, of course, I wanted to look at the Eternian Palace Guard as well.
00:51 And now that we've looked at that, we can look at this one, as this one's basically using the same body as that one from before.
00:56 The Snakemen Infiltrator, though, stands five and a half inches in height, or the figure's going to be 14 centimeters tall.
01:04 Bringing now in a couple of figures for comparisons.
01:06 Obviously, the one I wanted to bring in first, and the real reason why I looked at him first, here's what the figure looks like with the Eternian Guard.
01:12 Both the figures are using not only the same bodies, but also using the same armor.
01:15 But, yeah, there still seems something off about the face of the Infiltrator.
01:19 A couple of other figures we can also bring in as well.
01:21 Speaking of snakes, here's what the figure looks like with Squeeze.
01:25 Here's what the figure as well looks like with Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms, who happen to have been part of this same wave.
01:30 Here's what the figure as well looks like with the Horde Trooper Snakeman.
01:34 And here's as well what the figure looks like with Duncan Man-at-Arms.
01:37 I'm sure it'd be very hard to believe that the figure from this same wave would also come in with the same comic.
01:42 What? Is that possible? It is.
01:44 The figure comes, first of all, with the Fading Fortress, which happens to be the same mini-comic as the other three figures we've looked at from this wave.
01:50 Squeeze, as you can see, does have his pet snake, an impossible thing to actually pull off with the actual figure.
01:56 And then there's Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms on the front.
01:59 Quickly flipping through the pages, I did cut, unfortunately, the corner, but I have another three of these comics at least.
02:05 That's always the good thing, at least, of using the same comics for all the figures from the wave.
02:09 You can see, again, there's Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms, there's Skeletor, down below there's Spikor, I think probably my favorite figure from this wave.
02:16 Quickly, again, flipping through it, it's not a very long read at all.
02:19 It'd be very easy to sit down for a few minutes with a cup of coffee or whatever you're drinking at the time,
02:23 and easily just find out what's happening in the story in Man-at-Arms.
02:26 And, of course, all the things going on with the characters behind the scenes.
02:29 On the back, though, behind the scenes, behind the book, you have the also characters featured from this wave.
02:34 So there's Squeeze, Snake Man Infiltrator that we will be looking at in this review, Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms, and Spikor.
02:42 A lot of S's, by the way, I will say.
02:44 Every character from this wave has something starting with S.
02:47 Squeeze, Snake Man, Serpent Claw, and Spikor.
02:52 Didn't mean to spit all over you guys.
02:54 Something that also comes included, though, with the Infiltrator is the fact the figure comes included with a little pamphlet.
02:59 Pamphlet, once again, just drives home, I think redundantly drives home the idea that you can actually change the head,
03:04 change the arms, and change the lower torso and feet, if you wanted to swap that around with other existing Master of the Universe,
03:10 not even Man-at-Arms, Master of the Universe Origins figures.
03:13 That will immediately be going to the recycling bin.
03:16 I miss the recycling bin by like that, that much.
03:19 The figure, as well, comes included with a couple of accessories.
03:22 One of which, speaking of the earlier looked at Eternia Royal Guards, I have a hard time getting that out.
03:29 The Palace Guard happened to come included with this as well.
03:31 Figure comes included with a glade.
03:33 Not that plug-in that basically aromatizes your entire room.
03:36 I wouldn't even use those anyways, but a different type of glade.
03:39 The glade itself is actually molded in the same silver plastic, and it's pretty close, too.
03:43 Nothing bums me out more than when a company decides to reuse the same accessory, and then they don't color it exactly the same.
03:49 At least that way I can actually have myself a little armory.
03:52 I'm going to end up ultimately putting these in with Castle Greyskull, where I think these accessories first originated from.
03:57 I'll just basically have myself a little armory where all the guards can actually grab their weapons.
04:01 Same exact glade, though, and it can be clipped into his hand.
04:05 The benefit also of this one is the fact that, unlike the Palace Guard, he does actually have gripping hands on both sides.
04:10 The original one that we looked at, I'm just going to bring it in right now, had a relaxed hand to hold the shield.
04:15 But this one actually benefits from having two gripping hands, so hey, how about that?
04:18 The other thing it can grip onto, leading me more to believe that something isn't quite right with the Infiltrator,
04:23 is it also comes included with a little serpent scepter.
04:26 Again, there's a whole bunch of S's.
04:28 Bringing in the other scepters we've looked at from earlier Snakemen, you'll see, in fact, it's the exact same mold, but cast in different plastics.
04:34 Green, red, and now we've got ourselves silver. It's the exact same scepter, though.
04:38 Still, though, looking at this, it reminds me of G.I. Joe the movie, and the little time snake that slithers up the pole.
04:44 Golobulus is counting down the time before the space spores start to explode.
04:50 Speaking of turning people into snakes, no hiding the fact that those people would be turning...
04:54 Citizens would be turning into snake people.
04:57 Anyways, this can be clipped into his hand as well.
04:59 All this time of talking about it, I just wanted to actually show you what it looks like.
05:02 The serpent is actually the hardest thing to clip in place, just because, again, the snake is slithering around the post.
05:07 It makes things a little bit more difficult for the Snakemen to properly hold it.
05:11 But you can hold that, and we can go ahead and grab the glade from the side here and clip that also in place.
05:16 And now you can actually have the character wielding both weapons.
05:19 I don't know if I'd necessarily have him walking around Eternia carrying around a snake scepter.
05:24 I'm sure that'd be drawing even more attention than the character's already getting anyways.
05:28 Putting the accessories away for right now, at least, we'll be bringing those back in for final looks.
05:32 Getting a closer look now at the Infiltrator.
05:35 The interesting thing about this is the fact that, first of all, he does have a green face.
05:39 And if you were to flip down the mouth guard, it's a little harder to do, and you're not really even supposed to do it either.
05:44 But if you flip it down, you can see there's a fully sculpted face underneath.
05:48 I think it still is the unmasked Duncan head sculpt that we did get from before.
05:52 I think the only thing that's different, in fact, here's the Duncan head sculpt.
05:55 It does look to be the same, doesn't it? I can't be the only one, I'm sure, that's seeing it.
05:59 It does look to be the same head sculpt, of course, very obviously painted differently.
06:03 Both in the green skin, the red eyes, and the little pupils in black.
06:08 Nice looking head sculpt, though, but I think for better concealment, we'll just kind of flip that up a little bit.
06:12 It's softer plastic, at all.
06:14 The head sculpt as a whole, though, I mean, looking at this and then bringing back in the Eternian Guard,
06:19 same head sculpt, or same molding from the helmet, at least, same faces.
06:23 Of course, one is just cast in a more darker coloring of blue, and the yellow is also a lot brighter and more vibrant.
06:29 It isn't, though, as clean.
06:30 You'll see there's a lot of areas here, unfortunately, on the Infiltrator, that some of the blue has bled onto the yellow,
06:36 or maybe the other way around, they haven't applied enough of the yellow, and some of the blue is bleeding from underneath it.
06:41 It's not the cleanest, unfortunately.
06:43 This side's a little bit better, but I've got a few little splotches of paint that's made their way onto the helmet.
06:48 The actual armor as a whole, though, is, while still using the same one as from before,
06:52 it loses, unfortunately, the paint that's on the front for the Eagle crest.
06:55 This one was painted in gold, you remember.
06:57 This one doesn't have the gold, it's just molded in the orange plastic alone.
07:01 The thing I really, though, like about the Snakeman Infiltrator is the fact that he also has darker coloring for his body.
07:06 All the things that were originally sort of more of a lime yellow or lime color green,
07:10 is now a much darker military or kind of swamp green that they've used for the body build.
07:15 It's a little bit darker.
07:16 It's actually a really nice color that they used for the green.
07:19 In a way, though, I mean, looking at this and looking at Man-at-Arms,
07:22 in a way, I'm kind of a little more tempted to use this body for Man-at-Arms down the road.
07:26 I'm sure when we eventually get the 2000X Man-at-Arms, of course, using the same body torso as the Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms,
07:33 I'm probably sure they're going to be using more of a darker green than more of the lighter green that was on the original Man-at-Arms body.
07:39 The armor is attached in the exact same places.
07:41 I don't know why, though, on the armor on this one, it seems everything is a little more tighter.
07:45 When we first looked at the Palace Guard, for example, everything was really sitting loosey-goosey.
07:50 The forearm guards, for example, the shoulder pads, all the things were really sitting loose.
07:54 It seems a lot more tighter, though, on this newer figure.
07:56 The joints are also a lot more tighter on this figure.
07:59 It also has one other thing that's a little bit different, too, than both Duncan and the other Palace Guard.
08:03 As you can see, his belt. His belt not only has a darker brown for the loincloth, but also sports more of a bluish-gray,
08:10 really nice color for the lower half of his body.
08:13 For the figure's articulation, it's going to be exactly the same.
08:16 His head's going to be rotating all the way around on a ball joint.
08:19 It does allow the head to look up and look down, and you can move it back and forth.
08:23 One thing I also found was funny, being that the fact that they are using this from the mold of the Palace Guard,
08:28 it happens to have hair on the back.
08:30 Now, I don't know if that's just snake hair.
08:32 Do snakes grow hair, and if they do, would they be the same color as the rest of their face?
08:36 One little oversight, unfortunately, for Mattel using the same head,
08:40 is the fact that they've sculpted still the hair on the back.
08:42 They just simply have painted it green.
08:44 Hey, why not, right? We don't need to actually paint this any color.
08:47 I think the whole idea is you're supposed to be looking at it, just assume it's all one part.
08:50 You could also say it's maybe scales, but that's clearly more hair.
08:53 The arms do rotate all the way around.
08:55 That's the same on both sides.
08:57 Unfortunately, rotating the arms, though, especially on this figure,
08:59 I find it's prone to popping the joints out.
09:01 You can bring those arms out at 90 degrees.
09:03 There's a swivel at the actual elbow, not at the bicep, at the elbow.
09:07 There's the hinge right there as well. You can bend that back and forth.
09:10 And the hands do rotate also all the way around. You can hinge them back and forth as well.
09:13 Waist is on a straight swivel.
09:15 The legs are on a ball joint. Once again, you can take those legs and move them forward.
09:18 Move them back, but really tight again on this figure.
09:21 There's a bend at the knee, allows the lower leg to rotate.
09:23 And ankle pivot both up and down this way, and back and forth this way.
09:27 I will say one thing, though, about the Snakeman Infiltrator.
09:30 While he's not hiding at all, the fact he's a serpent underneath the helmet.
09:34 I will say, though, his joints are a lot tighter than all the other figures we've looked at lately here.
09:38 Master Universe Origins figures are usually hit or miss when it comes to tightness on joints.
09:43 I mean, hey, we just finished looking at the Palace Guard, for example.
09:46 And he's extremely loose in the head. I don't even know why he's as loose as he is.
09:50 And yet, ironically enough, being that this one's using the same body, using the same peg system,
09:55 and you've got to imagine using the same head, while this head is nice and tight,
09:59 poor Palace Guard. You can see how loose that actually is.
10:03 I like the colors, of course, they approached with when they came to the Infiltrator.
10:06 Of course, it makes it a little more standout, the fact he's not using even the same armor as all the other Infiltrators,
10:12 or all the rest of the Palace Guards from before, but you like the darker colors.
10:16 And if they haven't already thought of this, I'm sure considering that we have, after all, looked at,
10:20 let's bring him in right now, Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms, I did say in his review,
10:24 let's bring these guys over just a little bit. In the review, though, of Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms,
10:28 I did say for the fact that they are now using a brand new tooled armor piece.
10:32 I'm sure that's going to lead down the road to doing a 2000X Man-at-Arms.
10:35 And if that's the case, if that's the case, I'd love to see them maybe approach the colors more darker
10:40 to what we get here with the Snakeman Infiltrator. I like the darker colors.
10:43 Using the same body, sure, as the Eternian Palace Guard,
10:46 but I think they're doing it a little bit better here for what we get with the Infiltrator.
10:49 Okay, okay, I did cheat a little bit in final looks here for the Snakeman Infiltrator.
10:54 Technically, the figure does not, does not include two glaives,
10:57 but I thought the glaives were cool weapons anyways, that I would use the one that came included with the Palace Guard,
11:01 which happened to be molded in the same silver plastic.
11:03 Thank you, Mattel, for sculpting this in the same silver plastic.
11:06 I thought it would be a lot more menacing to have the figure displayed with both.
11:09 The benefit of this one, unlike the Palace Guard, was the fact that the Infiltrator does actually have two gripping hands.
11:14 When we had looked at the Eternian Palace Guard, it actually had to have a relaxed hand in order to hold the shield.
11:20 While this one may not be able to hold the shield as well,
11:22 unless you want to kind of hold it as it's in, kind of he's holding it in front of him,
11:26 I much prefer to have gripping hands on both the figures forearms instead.
11:30 Now, while of course, it's a very obvious use for Mattel just to simply mold the use,
11:34 remold the figure from the Palace Guard we looked at before, at least the colors are a little bit darker.
11:39 Now there's of course, the little problem of consistency.
11:42 The Palace Guard was a lighter coloring of green and was also a lighter coloring of the orange,
11:46 but at least this one does have darker colors, which again, evoke the idea that I'm sure down the road,
11:51 Mattel's got planned a 2000 X series release of Man-at-Arms.
11:54 We already have the tease really with Serpent Claw Man-at-Arms and the armor that came included with that figure.
11:58 Now with the darker colors that we get here for the Infiltrator,
12:01 I got to believe, got to believe that we are going to be getting a 2000 X Man-at-Arms down the road.
12:06 Now, of course, if you have picked up this figure for yourself, how do you have them displayed?
12:10 The benefit also of this one is that you don't even always have to have it displayed with the snake face.
12:14 If you don't really like the snake face, just use the body.
12:17 I did say in the review for the, for example, the Palace Guard that I wish that the set was packed in two instead of just the one.
12:22 If I didn't, if I got tired really with the idea of having a snake face on this one,
12:26 and I'm sure this is one's going to ultimately be a peg warmer also for this wave,
12:30 I could easily go back and just buy more of these.
12:32 The colors aren't going to be quite the same as the Palace Guard we looked at before.
12:36 The darker colors, I got to say, work a little bit better on this figure.
12:38 And the joints also are a lot tighter on this figure than the Palace Guard from before.
12:42 But have you picked up this figure? Let me know down below in the comments section.
12:46 And now that we have wrapped up the wave, the entire wave of Squeeze, Snake Man, Infiltrator, Serpent Claw, Man-at-Arms and Spike Core,
12:52 who would you say is your favorite figures from this wave?
12:54 And who would you say are figures that you're going to pass on?
12:56 I have a feeling people are probably going to be passing on Serpent Claw, Man-at-Arms.
13:00 Don't pass on Serpent Claw, Man-at-Arms. He's actually a pretty cool looking figure.
13:03 And even if you don't really like the idea of a Snake Man infiltrating the Royal Palace,
13:07 at least you can use the body again for something else.
13:10 I mean, it doesn't even have to really be a Palace Guard either.
13:12 You could use a head for He-Man, for example. Why not?
13:14 You can do whatever you want in your collection.
13:16 But let me know if you have picked up this figure down below, or do you feel it's a total pass?
13:20 Also as well, if you guys enjoyed this video, I want to hit it with a like.
13:22 If you guys are loving the content you guys are seeing, and you would like to stick around for more,
13:26 we may have wrapped up things, at least for right now, for the Origins line,
13:29 but we will also be looking at some more Masterverse stuff.
13:32 So if that's the kind of thing you'd like to see more He-Man stuff for,
13:35 make sure you hit that subscribe button down below, and you're also as well turning on the bell notification.
13:39 As always, guys, thanks for watching. See you guys next time.
