00:00 Amanda was in the middle of a burning room.
00:02 The only window was too small and too high for the woman to reach.
00:06 There was also nothing to climb or stand on.
00:09 There was no rope, neither was there a door.
00:12 And still, in a matter of seconds, Amanda was outside.
00:16 How did she do it?
00:29 There was no door in the room.
00:31 The woman just ran out through the doorway.
00:33 Jason was a courier who regularly delivered food and other stuff to Mrs. Brown.
00:39 The elderly lady liked him a lot.
00:41 She trusted him enough to let the guy use her spare key that she kept under her doormat.
00:46 When Mrs. Brown was away, Jason would take this key and leave everything he had brought inside.
00:52 One day, the guy came to the woman's house and found out that the key wasn't in its usual place.
00:58 He rang the bell and a man he'd never seen before opened the door.
01:01 "I'm an electrician," he said.
01:04 "I was fixing some lighting problems in the living room, and the lady is resting now."
01:08 Jason immediately called the police.
01:11 Why?
01:12 The man used the spare key to get inside.
01:25 See? It's lying on the table in the hall.
01:28 But if he was a real electrician, the lady would have let him in.
01:31 Then why would he even need the spare key?
01:34 A rare and precious diamond was found in a small town.
01:38 The local authorities needed to move it to the capital city.
01:42 All criminals in the area knew about the priceless gem and were after it.
01:46 But one detective said he knew how to transport the diamond to the capital safely.
01:52 What did he suggest?
01:53 [Clock Ticking]
02:05 They transferred the exact copy of the diamond with a great deal of publicity.
02:09 But the real gem was taken to the capital secretly by the detective.
02:13 "You're locked in a room, and the only thing that can help you get out of there is this note.
02:19 You won't leave this room until you solve my riddle.
02:23 1 2 3 = 0
02:25 5 2 3 7 = 0
02:28 8 8 9 9 = 6
02:31 3 7 0 = 1
02:34 1 0 0 1 = 2
02:37 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 = What?
02:43 Can you figure out the correct answer?
02:46 [Clock Ticking]
02:57 The answer is 4.
02:58 You need to count all the closed circles in the digits.
03:02 Lila was caught by a villain who then locked her in a basement and went away.
03:08 In a few hours, the villain came back.
03:10 He promised that if Lila solved his riddle, he would set her free.
03:14 But if she failed, she would stay there forever.
03:18 The villain gave the girl a note where it was written,
03:20 "Guess the next three letters in the sequence. G T N T L."
03:26 Can you help her do it?
03:28 [Clock Ticking]
03:39 The answer is I T S.
03:42 Each of the letters in the sequence is the first letter of the words in the note.
03:46 Hannah got lost in a cave.
03:49 After wandering around for some time, she saw three tunnels.
03:53 The first passage was full of bear traps.
03:55 The second tunnel was filled with toxic gases going from under the ground.
04:00 The third passage was filled with water, swarming with huge whale sharks.
04:05 Which tunnel should Hannah choose?
04:07 [Clock Ticking]
04:18 Hannah picked the third tunnel.
04:20 Whale sharks are harmless filter feeders.
04:22 A wealthy businessman disappeared right from his home one afternoon.
04:27 His wife called the police.
04:28 A detective arrived and questioned everyone who was in the house at that time.
04:33 The cook said she'd been preparing dinner and hadn't left the kitchen.
04:37 The maid claimed she'd been cleaning the dining room after the businessman and his wife had had
04:42 lunch. And the wife said that after lunch, she'd been sunbathing and swimming in the pool.
04:48 The detective immediately realized who was behind the man's disappearance.
04:53 Do you know the answer?
04:54 [Clock Ticking]
05:06 It was the wife!
05:07 Look outside!
05:08 It's late fall and there's no water in the swimming pool!
05:11 Paul was a young but very talented chemist.
05:15 He was going to attend a very important conference where he had to present his latest work.
05:20 But right before the event, Paul's envious colleague locked the guy in his lab.
05:25 There was no way he could get out of there on his own.
05:28 In the middle of the room, there was a test tube with some bright purple liquid inside.
05:32 There was also a note.
05:35 This mixture will blow up in one minute.
05:38 You've got only one chance to neutralize it with one of these ingredients.
05:42 If you add the correct one, the reaction will stop.
05:44 Here's the clue.
05:46 You'll need to figure out the needed ingredient.
05:49 By the way, your chemical knowledge won't help here.
05:52 Luckily, Paul was very smart and managed to find the right ingredient before the time ran out.
05:58 Which one was it?
05:58 [Clock Ticking]
06:10 It's a row of letters from H to O.
06:12 It means the needed ingredient is H2O, which is water.
06:17 Betty was having lunch in a nice cafe when several police officers came in.
06:22 They were looking for a criminal who had escaped from the police station the day before.
06:26 Betty started to look around too, examining the visitors.
06:30 She spotted the criminal even faster than the officers did.
06:34 Who was it?
06:35 [Clock Ticking]
06:46 Look at the barman!
06:48 He's wearing handcuffs!
06:49 Look at this equation.
06:51 It isn't correct.
06:52 What can you do to make it correct?
06:55 [Clock Ticking]
07:07 All you need to do is turn the equation upside down.
07:10 You'll get 108 equals 6 times 18.
07:13 Look at this picture.
07:16 How many zombies can you spot here?
07:18 [Clock Ticking]
07:29 They're all zombies!
07:30 The guy on the left has apparently lost his eyeballs.
07:34 There's another eyeball on the ice cream the girl is eating.
07:37 And it doesn't seem to be bothering her.
07:39 And even though this dog is biting the guy on the right, he doesn't seem to feel any pain.
07:45 Look at these pictures.
07:47 Can you figure out who is faking pregnancy?
07:49 [Clock Ticking]
08:00 It's the woman on the left.
08:02 Look at the balloons the boy is holding.
08:04 The one with the letter D on it is missing.
08:06 Sally didn't want to go to school one day.
08:10 She came to her mom and said she didn't feel well and had a fever.
08:14 Her mom touched her forehead and indeed it was hot.
08:18 Sally's mom let the girl stay home.
08:20 Look at Sally's room and try to figure out how the girl tricked her mom.
08:24 [Clock Ticking]
08:35 Easy peasy!
08:37 She heated her forehead with the hair dryer.
08:39 One person needs a day to dig a hole.
08:43 Then how long will it take two people to dig half a hole?
08:46 [Clock Ticking]
08:57 There's no such thing as half a hole.
08:59 A melon is 40 cents.
09:02 A raspberry is 60 cents.
09:04 An avocado 80 cents.
09:06 How much is a lychee?
09:07 [Clock Ticking]
09:19 The correct answer is 60 cents.
09:21 The price of each fruit is 20 cents multiplied by the number of vowels in the fruit's name.
09:26 After having had an argument with a powerful magician the night before,
09:31 Mark woke up in a dark room.
09:32 Luckily, his cell phone was still working.
09:36 He switched on the flashlight and saw three doors.
09:38 Apparently, the first one led to a sea swarming with predator sharks.
09:43 The second door led to a cave filled with sharp rocks and bats with giant claws.
09:48 And the third door led to a forest with brain-controlling zombie mosquitoes.
09:54 Which door should Mark open to escape?
09:56 [Clock Ticking]
10:07 The second door sounds like a pretty safe choice.
10:10 Bats may look scary, but they won't attack you if you don't provoke them.
10:14 Some weirdo caught you and offered to choose a place where you'd have to stay on your own
10:19 for the following three weeks.
10:21 If you managed to survive, he'd set you free.
10:24 He gave you three options.
10:26 A desert with several cacti growing around,
10:28 a sunny field with flowers where you'll have a banana and a glass of water,
10:32 and a beach under the stormy skies, surrounded by sharp cliffs,
10:36 with high waves crashing against the shore.
10:39 Where will you have more chances to survive?
10:41 [Clock Ticking]
10:53 In a desert, there's no water, and you won't last long.
10:56 One banana and a glass of water won't help you to survive for three weeks.
11:00 Your only choice is the beach.
11:02 The sea will provide you with food,
11:04 and since the weather is cloudy, you'll be able to drink rainwater.
11:08 That's it for today!
