During Chhath Puja Celebrations In Delhi, Devotees Offered ‘Araghya’ To The Rising Sun As Poisonous Foam Drifted On The Surface Of The Polluted Yamuna River. Usha Araghya Was Offered On The Fourth Day Of Chhath Puja On November 20 And Devotees Stood In Knee-Deep Toxic Foam Water To Perform Rituals. High Phosphate Concentration In The Yamuna Can Lead To Skin And Respiratory Issues And Is The Reason For Toxic Foam, Reported ANI.
