00:00 Do we all owe Russell Wilson an apology?
00:02 - Eh, maybe, no, no.
00:05 This is a results-based business, sir.
00:07 Y'all were one in five,
00:09 and you lost the game by 50 points.
00:11 Rolling around, riding around,
00:12 talking about some Broncos country last ride,
00:14 which is the most cringe line I've ever heard in my life.
00:16 So first of all, for me personally,
00:18 I'm gonna get jokes off with that alone,
00:19 until you're deserving of all the criticism you got.
00:22 I love the redemption,
00:23 I love that they've seemed to get their season
00:25 back in order by winning four straight.
00:27 So you deserve kudos for that.
00:28 But I'm not giving you an apology
00:30 when y'all looked decrepit and anemic
00:33 for the first five games of the season.
00:34 So no, I'm not giving you no apology for that.
00:37 - I think he is owed a bit of an apology,
00:39 not because he was criticized.
00:41 They deserve to be criticized
00:43 both at the beginning of this year and last year.
00:45 But it was a little bit OD.
00:47 It was a little bit disrespectful, in fact,
00:49 when you're talking about a future Hall of Famer here,
00:51 and people were trying to take back
00:53 his Hall of Fame credentials.
00:54 I think they were just waiting for their opportunity
00:57 to pounce on Russ,
00:59 because they didn't like his whole,
01:02 oh shucks, whatever it is, that attitude he puts out there.
01:06 The Broncos country, let's ride attitude, in fact.
01:09 So people were waiting his whole career to jump on him.
01:11 - Like, listen, you always think the grass is greener.
01:14 When he left Seattle, he thought by him going to Denver,
01:16 he had a better opportunity to win.
01:18 And when he was in Seattle,
01:20 he deserved all the praise that he got,
01:22 and because they were successful.
01:23 But once you leave that system and that safe haven,
01:26 and you come to Denver, and it's a hot mess,
01:30 yeah, you don't get criticized.
01:31 And people don't question if you're actually deserving
01:35 of a Hall of Fame jacket.
01:37 - Yeah, except for now we got a real coach again.
01:40 The person I'm really looking at sideways here
01:42 is Nathaniel Hackett, who was the coach of the Broncos
01:46 and made Russell Wilson look like a bum,
01:48 and now is the offensive coordinator of the New York Jets,
01:52 who have the worst offense I have ever seen.
01:55 It is a disgrace to the sport, the Jets offense.
01:58 If he wasn't buddies with Aaron Rodgers,
02:01 I don't know what people would be saying.
02:03 Everybody was up in arms
02:04 'cause Sean Payton was too mean to him.
02:06 I think Sean Payton has proven himself again
02:10 as a great coach, and as a result,
02:12 we're at least seeing that Russell Wilson isn't washed up,
02:16 and in fact, isn't the garbage he looked like last year
02:20 that everybody wanted to point last at.
02:23 - We don't even gotta go back to last year,
02:24 and this is the thing about being prisoner of the moment.
02:26 Yeah, Sean Payton looked great now,
02:28 but when y'all were losing by 50,
02:29 you didn't look the best, but it's fine.
02:32 Again, it's a result-based business,
02:33 and the current results are they're winning.
