The competition aims to raise awareness about the amount of pollution flowing into our oceans.

00:09 We did really good. We stayed together. We just tried to really focus.
00:13 Sometimes it was really hard because there wasn't really that much trash.
00:17 But that's when we had to look a little bit deeper, like in the bushes,
00:21 or just really focus on the cigarette butts on the floor.
00:24 It's something that's very close to our heart.
00:26 And especially living in Australia, it is such a beautiful place.
00:29 And we also understand that everything we have, everything,
00:34 our clothes, our buildings, comes from other rooms.
00:36 And so we really have to protect her.

00:50 What is really nice is we probably saw this as a sport and a way to visit Japan
00:55 and learn about Japanese culture.
00:57 But actually what we've learned is how important the ecological side of it is.
01:01 And so a lot of the other teams, maybe we're more ecological and less sport.
01:06 And we're probably the opposite.
01:08 But we've taken so much away about how much we need to clean up our oceans and reduce litter.
