00:00 Bruce Willis' wife, Emma Heming Willis, is grateful she has her family this Thanksgiving.
00:04 On Thursday, Emma shared a sweet photo on Instagram of Bruce spending quality
00:08 time with his family to commemorate the holiday.
00:10 In the adorable snap, Emma holds onto the 68-year-old as they sit next to their two daughters,
00:16 11-year-old Mabel and 9-year-old Evelyn. Bruce's ex-wife, Demi Moore, is also smiling nearby
00:22 alongside their daughters, 35-year-old Rumor, 32-year-old Scout and 26-year-old Tallulah.
00:27 Rumor's boyfriend, Derek Richard Thomas, and Tallulah's partner, Jake Miller, are also in
00:31 the snap. "I'm grateful and thankful to know this kind of love. Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving,"
00:37 Emma captioned the post. The post comes two months after Emma gave an update on Bruce's health,
00:43 saying it is "hard to know" whether Bruce is aware of his frontal temporal dementia diagnosis.
00:49 The family first revealed this diagnosis in February, which can affect movement, speech,
00:54 and executive functioning. Previously, they had announced that he was diagnosed with aphasia.
00:58 The family has been candid about Bruce's health and their journey together.
01:03 During an interview with Today Show in September,
01:06 Emma opened up about how the family is coping with his battle.
01:10 "What I'm learning is that dementia is hard. It's hard on the person diagnosed. It's also
01:16 hard on the family. And that is no different for Bruce or myself or our girls. And when they say
01:23 that this is a family disease, it really is." "Yeah, and I think that's interesting. You guys
01:29 do have young kids and kind of introducing what is happening to their father must not
01:35 be a simple thing. How did you go about that process?" "You know, I think it's always been,
01:41 we're a very honest and open household. And, you know, the most important thing was to be able for
01:48 us to say what the disease was, explain what it is, because when you know what the disease is from
01:55 a medical standpoint, it sort of all makes sense."
