00:40 She's like, "No, I'm not feeling good.
00:43 I need hair and makeup and all that stuff
00:45 for me to feel better and blah, blah, blah."
00:47 And I was like, "Okay, I'll call mom."
00:49 So mom, here you go. - She's such a queen.
00:51 I mean, come on, I'm doing it on the fly, man.
00:54 You tell me I'm here, I'm here.
00:56 I'm in my kitchen.
00:57 I got the, oh, should I turn off the fan?
00:59 'Cause it's like it's spinning over my head.

01:06 - Okay, I felt like there was a propeller over my head.
01:09 - Well, mom, let's talk about "The Golden Bachelor."

01:14 Maybe that's why grandma said she was sick
01:16 because she just didn't want to talk
01:17 about Gary knocking boots.

01:27 - But okay, so let's talk about the episode.

01:31 - Leslie, Teresa, in Costa Rica,
01:34 they have the fantasy sweets.
01:36 - It's beautiful. - He said he is in love
01:39 with both of the women.
01:41 - Yes, but he said to Leslie that he was in love
01:46 and that he didn't necessarily say that to Teresa.
01:49 And he seemed to be more interested in Leslie.
01:54 And she seemed to be a little bit more apprehensive.
01:56 She seemed to be like, "Whoa, wait a minute here."
01:59 And I got the feeling like, is he gonna pick Leslie?
02:03 Leslie, because he wants to rescue her and take care of her,
02:08 where I felt the opposite with Teresa.
02:11 Like Teresa is like, got it on.
02:14 She is successful.
02:17 And I think he felt a little maybe a little intimidated
02:20 with Teresa.
02:21 - Okay, that's such an interesting point
02:24 because grandma and I all season have been not anti-Teresa.
02:28 We just haven't been team Teresa.
02:30 But after watching this episode, I was like,
02:32 "Wait, I like Teresa."
02:34 She talked about how she went back to work
02:38 and she got a career for herself.
02:41 And that's like what keeps her going
02:43 like after her husband died.
02:45 And she's like, "I'm not gonna give up."
02:47 - She's a total badass.
02:48 - She's a total badass.
02:49 But I do agree.
02:51 So let's talk about Leslie's fantasy date.
02:54 They have this adventurous Costa Rican
02:58 waterfall excursion situation.

03:02 - That's not for me, but it sounds fun.

03:06 - Well, they had sloths though, honey.

03:10 When he was talking about the sex being like soft

04:56 is going to be like a hot mess.
04:58 - 'Cause he leaves Leslie's fantasy suite.

05:04 I think he even told her, "I think you are the one."
05:08 - And said, "I love you.

05:12 - Yeah, he says to her, "I think you are the one."
05:16 But he said that in such sincerity.

05:26 That was like, really, I love you.
05:28 There was a more of a connection,
05:32 emotional connection, a more of a,
05:34 I think somehow he's scared of Teresa.
05:39 - So then, okay, he leaves Leslie.
05:42 Then the next day he goes to Teresa.
05:44 He was not, it was obvious
05:46 when they were like going on the horses,
05:48 he was not feeling it.
05:50 Like you could tell, which was really sad.
05:53 He was not feeling it.
05:55 And then there was a switch
05:57 and the switch happened when they were at dinner
05:59 and they were talking and then she talked about her career.
06:02 And then he also realized, wow, we have a lot in common.
06:05 We both lost the love of our lives, our spouses.
06:10 He didn't have that real connection with Leslie
06:13 because Leslie, yeah, has been married two times,
06:16 but she's said to him that she's never really been
06:19 to death do us part kind of love.
06:22 So I think that was the switch.
06:25 He feels safe and he feels comfortable with Teresa
06:30 and not so much with, or I don't,
06:34 yeah, I don't know, what do you think?
06:35 - Okay, so he feels a sense of taking care of Leslie.
06:40 - And wanting to fix the broken wings.
06:43 And then with Teresa, he is somewhat intimidated
06:49 by I think her success.
06:51 - But do we think that it's like,
06:53 oh, I've already kind of had this life.
06:55 I've already had, yeah, with Teresa,
06:59 like, 'cause I think he sees a lot of his late wife
07:04 in Teresa, so it's like, that's comfortable for him
07:07 or Leslie's exciting.
07:09 He keeps saying exciting.
07:11 So it's like something--
