00:00 So, I may not know what we do with the buffalo or the cow in the factual sense, I might not
00:09 know what is happening exactly inside that dairy or that farm, but don't I know how man
00:15 is?
00:16 I may not know the facts of the dairy industry, but do I not know the facts of our inner self?
00:24 We are greedy people and if an animal can give me something that gives me money, I'll
00:34 do anything to extract more and more of that stuff from that animal, which happens to be
00:42 a female mammal.
00:45 So I'll do everything to get more milk, which means I have to keep her constantly pregnant,
00:56 which means I have to artificially inseminate her and I don't need to have video evidence
01:03 for that.
01:04 I probably don't even need to visit the dairy to see whether it is actually happening.
01:09 It is bound to happen because that's the way we are and we are the ones who run that dairy.
01:15 So how is it possible that when we are corrupt and greedy and exploitative in all aspects,
01:21 all walks of life, at all times, we'll just spare the poor animal?
01:27 We don't spare our relatives, we don't spare our own family, we don't spare our own selves.
01:32 Why will we spare the animal?
01:34 So you can just using your own example, extrapolate what we would be doing to the cow or the buffalo
01:45 or the goat or to the hen and you won't be wrong, provided you are extrapolating with
01:54 some honesty.
01:55 Why will you want to show, forget compassion, even basic mercy to the animal, if extending
02:07 mercy reduces the productivity of that animal resource?
02:16 Even at the time of slaughter, you will slaughter the animal in the worst possible way, provided
02:24 that worst possible way is financially beneficial to you.
02:29 Is that not so?
02:30 And I don't even need evidence to corroborate what I am saying, though plenty of evidence
02:35 is already available and it's not confidential, you just have to Google or search for videos
02:41 and you will get it.
02:44 So if giving an animal painless death requires an additional 2 minutes, why will I spend
02:54 even those additional 2 minutes, even in the moment of slaughter?
03:00 So it's obvious what we are doing to the animal and they don't have a voice, so they won't
03:05 never come out on their own to narrate their story.
03:09 Thank you.
