00:01 And it'd be one of those situations if I start naming them where I'm like, dang,

00:05 I forgot to say such and such.

00:06 But if any of them are watching this, they know who they are.

00:09 And I'm thankful for them as well, because along this ride,

00:13 I wouldn't be in this position without them.

00:15 >> You got into coaching pretty young, right after your career.

00:17 Did you always know that was something you wanted to do?

00:19 >> I did, I did.

00:20 I'm a son of an educator with my parents, of my mother.

00:27 And I always kind of took liking to being able to affect lives and doing that.

00:33 There was probably a point in my career where if you would ask me if I wanted to

00:36 coach in the league, I probably would have said no, because I felt like there was

00:39 such an impact you could make with younger guys in the college level.

00:43 And I quickly found out that you can make probably a bigger impact

00:47 with professional athletes.

00:48 And so for me, that's always been the deal, being able to affect lives,

00:53 being involved with those guys.

00:55 And then football would be a byproduct of developing that.
