00:00 Technology is more likely to be forgotten behind the rise of artificial intelligence.
00:04 But just think of it this way.
00:06 AI is designed to learn.
00:11 So before, when we do programming, normally, what we can program is what we can define step by step.
00:16 But there are tasks that are more complicated that only humans can do.
00:20 So for certain tasks that can't be done by that type of programming,
00:24 what we do instead in AI is we're programming the code on how to learn.
00:30 It's just like humans, right?
00:31 That's why it's called artificial intelligence.
00:35 When you start to code it, it's like you have a baby.
00:38 It doesn't know anything.
00:39 And then as you train it over experiences, over data sets, it becomes mature and smart.
00:44 Except you don't have to wait years because the process of a computer is fast.
00:49 Amazing.
00:51 But how is AI taught?
00:54 So we try to think, how do we learn?
00:57 And one way humans learn is not through rules but through examples.
01:03 Children learn to speak not because of school.
01:07 Children learn to speak because their parents can hear them.
01:11 So when we say we're training the model, we're just giving it a lot of examples.
01:16 How many examples?
01:18 It can only contain the entire internet.
01:21 That's its library.
01:24 Yes, that's its repository. That's its intelligence.
01:27 AI can absorb more information than just one animal like us.
01:34 That's why AI has the ability to create amazing things.
