00:05 Lauren, how exciting is it?
00:06 It's very exciting. The Aquathon is always a highlight in our pre-season for the Wollongong Lions.
00:13 It gives us a bit of a goal to work for, a fitness goal before the season starts to get everyone fit and ready to start the next year.
00:20 How much does it mean to you to be an ambassador for this event?
00:23 It's very exciting. This is my first year. I've been doing the Aquathon since I was 10 years old.
00:29 It's been a long time coming. It's been a tradition with my family and friends. We do it every year.
00:35 It's just exciting to try and get it out there and get more people involved regardless of what background they come from.
00:43 As an ambassador for this, what do you see your role for this event?
00:47 I see my role as trying to make this event as inclusive as possible.
00:52 Regardless of what background you come from, I'm trying to get as many people involved as I can.
00:59 It's bringing up the excitement of human.
01:01 Will you be competing in the event? I know you've got ambassador duties, but will you be competing in the event as well?
01:06 Yes, I will definitely be competing. I'm going to do the solo.
