Finn's Miraculous Cure Will Do More Harm To Eric Than Good Bold and the Beautifu

00:00 You're probably among the two kinds of people who've either accepted the reality that Eric's dying
00:05 and those who are hoping for a miracle to happen.
00:08 If you ask me, I'll categorize myself with the latter one,
00:12 and I really look forward to someone coming up with a possible treatment for Eric.
00:17 We have plenty of doctors on the canvas right now,
00:19 so why can't anyone take a lead on Eric's case and find out if there's something they can do about it?
00:24 Finn and Lee Finnegan are already excellent doctors,
00:29 and we can expect a great deal of exciting storylines from them.
00:33 Bridget is coming home very soon, but let's address the ones we have right now.
00:38 Remember how Lee saved Finn and brought him back to life?
00:42 Everyone had thought that Eric was dead, but a miracle happened.
00:46 The desperate mother did the unthinkable,
00:50 and she's the only reason why Steffi is grateful to have her husband back.
00:54 Now comes the important part.
00:57 Why can't Lee or Finn perform a miracle for Eric?
01:01 It's only a matter of time before Finn thinks about Eric's case and find out if there's a possible cure.
01:07 He would surely go above and beyond to save Steffi's grandfather and see her smiling in the aftermath.
01:13 Steffi is visibly extremely upset that her grandfather is dying.
01:19 She'd like to believe everything is fine,
01:22 but the doctor's given Eric just a couple of months to live, which seems surreal, but it's true.
01:27 She also told John Finnegan right after finding out so about the news so Finn was as supportive as he could.
01:33 As days pass by, Steffi will need more and more support,
01:38 so he may try to find Eric's medical records at the hospital to help in any way he can.
01:44 He is a good doctor, just like his mom.
01:47 And last year, if Lee could nurse a brain-dead man back to life, then Eric's at least functioning properly.
01:54 So whether there's hope or not, Finn might want to see if there's anything he can do just to ease his wife.
02:02 Not that he thinks other doctors are incompetent, though.
02:07 Dr. Colin Colby did the best that he could.
02:10 He even consulted with other physicians, but no matter how he looked at it, the answer came the same.
02:16 However, Finn also loves his wife a lot, and he can't see her be so sad.
02:23 Besides, it's always good if there's a cure to one more disease no one thought would ever be curable, right?
02:30 And even if he can't find the cure, maybe he will be able to extend Eric's life just a little more.
02:37 For someone facing such a gruesome fate, and to their loved ones, each day counts.
02:44 After all, the more the merrier, right?
02:46 In this way, Steffi will feel a little relieved and have more faith.
02:52 It's always better to have some faith and hope than to completely give up.
02:56 Even if it's not much, there's something to hang on to, you know.
03:01 That being said, soon Bridget will return as well, which means Finn and Bridget will work together.
03:07 And then there's Lee, too.
03:09 We have already felt Lee's ability, so it must now be Finn and Bridget's turn.
03:14 Just a little while ago, there were rumors that Eric's portrayer had signed a contract for three more years,
03:20 and in an interview he also made it clear that he would work until the showrunners gave them airtime.
03:26 So how come all of a sudden they want to kill Eric?
03:30 Perhaps the writers just want to give us viewers some drama to get hooked on and soon things are going to be fine.
03:38 Of course, executive producer Casey did mention that he would be focusing more on the new generation now,
03:47 but with just three of them present, the show still needs the older generation to keep things fresh.
03:53 So what do you think?
