00:00 doing congrats on the win. Yeah, thank you. Obviously a dominating performance and I
00:04 think a lot of people are gonna be looking forward to Tennessee but what do
00:07 you think your team did really well today? Well I mean I thought we had some
00:12 really good moments. I was a little disappointed that we didn't sustain
00:14 those moments for closer to 40 minutes. Like we had some stretches where our
00:18 press was very effective. We executed, our aggression was good and it resulted in a
00:24 lot of turnovers and easy points for us. Yeah and I want to talk a little about
00:27 Diana Collins. I mean just another Ohio State, seems like she's fitting the Ohio
00:32 State guard archetype. A great defensive guard and then another aggressive
00:36 shooter as well. Yeah, no she's got a chance to be really good here now and
00:40 today I thought she played well. She just didn't finish how she normally makes so
00:43 she could have had a huge day today. And the second quarter this year has been
00:48 tough but consistent shooting after the last game. Was going into halftime was that the
00:53 folks like hey have a strong second quarter? Yeah no doubt. We you know we
00:56 didn't play good in either quarter in the Bahamas or against USC and so we
01:02 certainly want to be way more consistent throughout the game and I thought we
01:05 responded coming out of that at the end of the first quarter really well and played a
01:08 good second quarter. And defensively the second quarter I think is the second best
01:12 quarter in program history only allowing two points. You talk about the defense?
01:15 Yeah I know it's you know we need to get better defensively and so we've been
01:19 emphasizing that in practice and just talking about the things that we have to get better at.
01:23 So I think it showed there that we need to make the size of the game.
01:27 And for Celeste Taylor I know point scoring has not been there but today it's an example of what she does on
01:32 offense. She had seven assists to six different Buckeyes players. Can you talk about how
01:36 huge she is? Yeah no she's a great player. She sees the floor really well. She shares the ball.
01:39 Not only is she sharing the ball but she's throwing good passes which usually
01:43 lead to good shots. And is that what you're looking for from Celeste or are you hoping
01:47 also the point scoring will come around at some point? Yeah I think she will. I mean she's a
01:51 really talented player and as she gets more comfortable with how we play I think you'll see the points go up.
01:56 And then with Emma last year 31 appearances. She had two games with multiple threes. Now this year
02:01 she's got three games already with multiple threes. Is this the Emma you're
02:05 expecting to see and putting her maybe closer to the you know earlier parts of
02:09 the games when it's on the line? Yeah definitely and you know we need that. We
02:13 lost one of the best three-point shooters we've ever had here in Taylor-Mikesell and we're not
02:17 gonna make up with that with one person but we need multiple people to step up
02:21 and Emma being one of them. And what's the focus? I know it's early the game just ended but what are you
02:25 kind of focusing on this week in practice heading now to Tennessee? Well I
02:28 think early in the week we just focus on ourselves and just trying to get better at us.
02:32 And then we get later in the week we start to focus on Tennessee. They're a really talented team.
02:36 It's gonna be a great environment so we know it's gonna be a big challenge for us.
02:41 Perfect.
