00:00 People have always said it would be impossible to fly a jet right across the Atlantic on
00:07 sustainable aviation fuel.
00:09 Today we plan to prove them wrong and myself, my daughter and a number of other people will
00:16 be flying across the Atlantic.
00:21 We hope that this will be the very beginning of a new revolution in fuel in the years to
00:29 come.
00:30 It takes time, these things.
00:31 So today we're sitting here talking about sustainable aviation fuel.
00:36 Hopefully in 20 years' time all planes will be using sustainable aviation fuel on long
00:42 haul journeys.
00:44 But you have to start somewhere.
00:46 We started somewhere with carbon.
00:47 Now pretty well every plane in the world is being built with carbon.
00:51 Today we start with SAF and hopefully for our children and grandchildren they will be
00:57 flying on planes using sustainable aviation fuel.
