00:04 Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the wildest real-life car
00:08 stunts by trained drivers, so no movies or TV included.
00:11 "Yeah!
00:12 Driver, you just crushed the world record."
00:17 Number 10.
00:18 Gymkhana in France
00:19 The ultra-quick and demandingly precise motorsport style known as Gymkhana received an extra
00:24 boost of octane during this closed-course run in France in 2010.
00:27 The late legendary driver Ken Block navigated the steep banks of Lauterbrunnen with ease
00:32 at speeds exceeding anything we feel safe in, making this video a must for car nuts.
00:37 The drifting is insane in this one.
00:38 With some wild circling and swooping, there are donuts galore, some off-roading into the
00:42 grass, and enough craziness to fuel that need for speed in all of us.
00:47 Number 9.
00:48 Truck Jump
00:49 It's Love Day Adventure Park in Australia that serves as the setting for our next crazy
00:52 stunt, an insane example of getting air with a big rig.
00:55 This privately-owned park provided plenty of space in 2013 for Ash Nichols and his semi-truck
01:00 to do a huge jump that just feels earth-shaking.
01:02 Heck, the camera jostling alone from the cab cam is enough to turn our stomachs.
01:08 Meanwhile, one can feel the power and speed as this truck gains enough to hurdle itself
01:12 into the air over a huge dirt mound.
01:14 It's honestly awesome to watch.
01:16 Number 8.
01:17 Jaguar Barrel Roll
01:18 There's both style and substance behind this next stunt, a Jaguar E-Pace that manages to
01:22 do an ill-corkscrew barrel roll while in the midst of a massive jump.
01:36 No big deal, right?
01:37 Well, at least not for Britain's Terry Grant, a stunt driver with multiple world records
01:41 under his hood.
01:42 This video clip from 2013 wastes no time in letting the rubber meet the road as Grant
01:46 takes off in style and executes a perfect jump, with a beautiful barrel roll to finish
01:50 it all off.
01:51 It's breathtaking, exciting, and Grant somehow makes it all look easy.
01:54 Hello, Guinness Book of World Records.
01:57 Number 7.
01:58 Double Loop
01:59 "What we are going to attempt now, this afternoon, has never been attempted ever before in the
02:04 world."
02:05 The stunt team over at Top Gear were definitely on top of their A-game when they attempted
02:09 and succeeded at doing a 720-degree double loop.
02:13 "Three, two, one, go."
02:16 The stunt took place during a 2012 show in Dublin, Ireland, and the team utilized a four-wheeler
02:21 that did two loop-the-loops in quick succession.
02:23 The Top Gear lads made it look easy as the car hits both loops unscathed, but it's
02:27 the head-cam footage that really underlines how dangerous this could be for other stunt
02:31 drivers attempting to replicate this stunt behind the wheel of a similar car.
02:36 Number 6.
02:37 Semi-Truck Drifting
02:38 "Cool.
02:39 Did you see that truck?"
02:44 We know that Nancy Sinatra said that her boots were made for walking, but are semi-trucks
02:48 made for drifting?
02:49 We're not so sure, but that didn't stop Mike Ryan from doing just that during this
02:53 insane stunt video.
02:54 Ryan had plenty of movie stunt coordinating under his belt prior to attempting this trick,
02:58 but it doesn't make the end result any less insane.
03:00 The sight of this massive truck drifting around smaller cars is a sight to behold.
03:13 It's the sort of precise driving that only experienced masters like Ryan can pull off,
03:18 and the end results just sort of speak for themselves, really.
03:20 When it comes to truck stunts, size matters.
03:33 Number 5.
03:34 Baja Truck Madness
03:35 There's a whole lot of testosterone going on in this 2014 stunt video from the people
03:39 at Monster Energy.
03:41 Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries sets the stage alongside some bikini-clad women and
03:45 a cute dog for ballistic BJ Baldwin to rip it up in Ensenada, Mexico.
03:49 The urban setting adds an element of unpredictability as Baldwin tears through streets past a group-playing
03:55 ball and into sheer madness.
03:56 The control Baldwin possesses as he navigates turns and corners is a sight to behold, and
04:01 the entire affair feels as if it might fall off the rails at any moment.
04:12 This is despite the obvious control Monster has over the layout and stunt as a whole.
04:16 It's just a fun watch from beginning to end.
04:39 Number 4.
04:40 18-Wheeler Jumps a Car
04:41 The Lotus Formula One team outdid themselves with this stunt, defying the laws of gravity
04:46 and making the hearts jump within our collective throats.
04:48 Humongous 18-wheelers like this one probably weren't designed to jump over comparatively
04:53 tiny cars, right?
04:54 Yet here that exact situation takes place and we still can't believe our eyes.
04:58 The video clip plays out like a chase, building suspense until that final hand-over-mouth
05:02 moment.
05:07 The F1 motorsport car in the lead thankfully doesn't get crushed by the 18-wheeler, and
05:12 the end results actually look kind of, well, graceful, if we're being honest.
05:16 Number 3.
05:17 Mini Flip
05:18 This next stunt is yet another example of a car doing something that cars just weren't
05:21 intended to do, especially mini cars.
05:24 We gotta admit, though, that watching this absolute feat of vehicular magic makes us
05:28 want to raise our fists and yell.
05:29 French rallycross driver Guerlain Chichy takes a mini-Cooper into the Alps to perform a non-assisted
05:35 backflip, and the results are as breathtaking as you'd imagine.
05:48 The slow-motion photography is graceful and beautiful, frankly, making the whole experience
05:52 feel like a Hot Wheels toy.
05:53 But nope, that actually is Chichy performing the impossible and doing a beautiful reverse
05:58 flip amidst a gorgeous and snowy backdrop.
06:01 Number 2.
06:02 Flying Rally
06:03 Travis Pastrana is no stranger to danger.
06:05 Having carved a career out of doing some of the most extreme motocross, supercross, and
06:09 rally racing stunts in the world, Pastrana really outdid himself in 2010 with this no-limits
06:13 jump taking on the record for distance in a rally car.
06:20 The stunt is simply stunning in every way, with Pastrana truly putting the pedal to the
06:24 metal.
06:25 The rally car gets some huge air before it crashes into the safety wall, and Pastrana
06:28 emerges having jumped 269 feet.
06:31 Talk about dangerous daredevil action!

06:56 Number 1.
06:57 Hot Wheels Madness
06:58 We mentioned the iconic toy line Hot Wheels earlier in our list, so it's sort of fitting
07:02 that we end this ranking with a car representing that brand.
07:05 Driver Tanner Faust hosted the American iteration of Top Gear, so it sort of makes sense that
07:09 he'd be the man responsible for breaking yet another world record.
07:12 Here it's for distance in a four-wheeled vehicle, as Faust is released from an incline resembling
07:16 one of those classic Hot Wheels tracks.
07:24 The car then feels like it's suspended mid-air forever before it finally hits the ground.
07:33 The audio inside of the car cam is eerily quiet as Faust accomplishes the trick, but
07:37 it doesn't make the end result any less thrilling.
07:39 You should never attempt these stunts, but let us know in the comments which ones rocked
07:42 your world.
