00:00 Thanks for joining us, Mac. You've had a busy year with your footy and your cricket, playing for Greater Western Victoria Rebels in the V/Line Cup and now Western Waves in the Country Cup. Can you tell us a little bit about your seasons?
00:11 Yeah, I've had a pretty big year. Firstly through footy out at the Kirit Saints, under-16s as a bottom manager. We ended up getting up in the Grand Final. I'm sure plenty of people have seen it.
00:22 It's got hundreds of thousands of views now, winning on the Siren. Pretty surreal to do that. And then, yeah, through personal performance to play for the GMU V Rebels at the V/Line Cup.
00:34 It's been incredible, like, high level football. As an athlete, you always aspire to play at the highest level, so at this age, to be able to do that's pretty cool.
00:43 And then, yeah, moving through with cricket. Yeah, to play seniors, obviously, here at Allensford, and juniors as well, and to get recognised for the Western Waves is pretty massive and I look forward to the Carnival coming up in a couple of weeks.
00:56 Can you tell us a bit about your style of playing, both footy and cricket?
01:00 Yeah, so football, I've played off the half-back line this year. Using my kicking ability is my major strength, setting up the team a bit and moving the team into offence more than out of defence.
01:13 And in cricket, I'm an all-rounder, so I'm an opening right arm fast bowler and will bat anywhere from four to seven.
01:21 And what about on a national and international scale? Who do you look up to in both sports?
01:26 Football, Patrick Cripps, Colton supporter, absolutely love him. Can't say a bad word about the bloke.
01:32 In terms of cricket, I think I've based my game off Nish Marsh a bit, that all-rounder, medium to fast bowler, right-hander that comes in and scores runs through the middle order.
01:43 Alright, well, best of luck, mate.
01:45 Thank you.
