00:00 I don't think you're ever too old to get an advent calendar.
00:07 I think you can have an advent calendar at any age at all.
00:10 If you think about advent calendars are a bit extravagant.
00:13 I saw one that was a whiskey advent calendar and it was really expensive.
00:18 I think it was a couple of thousand pounds for the advent calendar in an airport lounge.
00:23 So on your travels you might want to treat yourself.
00:26 I still like to buy people advent calendars and that's one of the things I'm actually
00:31 out doing right now.
00:32 I'm going to go and buy my wife an advent calendar, the kids have already got theirs.
00:35 So I'm just going to go and try and find something from one of the shops in Leeds.
00:38 I don't think there's an age limit on that.
00:41 No.
00:42 If someone bought me one I'd use it because I like chocolate.
00:45 But I don't think there's an age limit.
00:48 No.
00:49 It's just for a house isn't it.
00:50 The house opens, whoever gets it there first, the house opens it up.
00:54 I don't think you're ever too old are you?
00:57 No, I don't get them but I don't think you're ever too old really.
01:02 No, it's just nice.
01:03 Nice little surprise.
01:05 Well quite often we buy one with the serenades on it but my wife also has one which is made
01:13 of fabric with pockets in it where she puts chocolates in the fabric.
01:16 So it's the same one every year just with different chocolate or whatever in it.
01:21 Regarding advent calendars, I love them and I do buy the little ones, advent calendars
01:27 and very often I buy myself one as well.
01:31 And I try to stay away from chocolate these days but I've been bought Yankee Candle advent
01:36 calendars but I have seen Crazy Popcorn.
01:39 That's quite fun I think and it's a bit lighter than chocolate.
01:44 And I've also invested in an advent calendar this year from Marks and Spencers that had
01:49 a great saving but I'll be using those things as presents.
01:53 I've got a gin one.
01:54 Yeah, of course it is.
01:55 It's adulting.
01:56 It's fun though isn't it?
01:57 Oh yeah, yeah, we love Christmas.
01:58 Oh, you're never too old.
01:59 Do you still get one or buy one for other people?
02:00 I have bought them for my children this year who are 33 and 30 so yeah.
02:17 There's no age?
02:18 I still get an advent calendar and I'm an adult.
02:25 They weren't like they are now.
02:27 They were just like an A4 or probably smaller piece of card.
02:32 We opened the little windows every day and there was a little picture behind.
02:38 And finally you got a picture of the crib for Christmas.
02:42 Since then they've developed this sort of chocolate habit.
02:48 You get a piece of chocolate each day and then it's gone on to all sorts of things.
02:54 So you can get cosmetics, you can get gin, you can get cheese and probably everything
03:01 else you can think of.
