00:00 >> Are you've been you in the line in general have really been coming on lately.
00:03 You in the last few weeks, a few quarterback hits about a couple sacks and
00:08 everything.
00:09 Is it finally coming together for you?
00:11 Like are things slowing down from the beginning of the year?
00:13 >> Yeah, I would say things are definitely slowing down a little bit.
00:15 I feel like I still have a lot of work to do.
00:17 Whatever the numbers have been the last couple weeks, I obviously want more.
00:21 I wanna play better in the run game.
00:23 I wanna be better as a rusher.
00:24 I feel like me and the rest of the D line are still trying to get better.
00:28 >> Yeah, so is it just like a whirlwind right now?
00:31 Are you trying to focus on like 100 different things or
00:34 are they just telling you to go play ball?
00:36 Like how's that going?
00:37 >> Yeah, I mean really just go play ball.
00:39 You definitely don't wanna be out there thinking a lot.
00:41 So I would just say just know what you're supposed to do and
00:44 like the different assignments we might have and then just go out and execute.
00:48 >> And how important is like hustle and playing to the whistle?
00:52 Cuz Dayo and Quitty kind of had the same thing coming in where they're
00:57 really athletic guys who could get there.
01:00 The numbers weren't necessarily there yet, but they were playing to the whistle and
01:04 they were finding themselves in the right place at the right time.
01:06 Like how important is that?
01:08 >> Yeah, I mean, coach talks about it all the time, our effort.
01:09 We gotta make sure we're running to the ball,
01:12 make sure we're just playing fast and physically.
01:15 So yeah, I feel like the effort plays a huge part as a D lineman.
01:19 Cuz when you do that, you're able to make more plays.
01:24 >> And you guys have a stretch coming up where there's not a ton of established
01:27 quarterback talent yet.
01:29 You got a rookie this week.
01:31 Is there anything where you look at it and it's like, okay, we have the upper hand.
01:37 You have to beat us, we're coming for you.
01:39 Anything like that?
01:40 >> I feel like in this league, no matter what, how good or
01:42 bad the team has been playing the last couple weeks, it's still an NFL team.
01:46 So they're coming, ready to go each and every week, especially this week.
01:49 It being a indivisible type of opponent, so
01:54 it's kind of a bigger game, obviously, for those purposes.
01:57 But I feel like no matter who we play, it's gonna be a tough opponent.
02:00 So I don't really see it as like, we should have the upper hand or
02:04 they're better or we're worse.
02:05 I see that it's a good team to go in and take it to win.
