00:00 I'm here in central London, where the city's streets have been set alight for the festive
00:05 season. It's that time of year again, where London's Christmas lights put the capital
00:10 in the spirit of the holiday. In Regent Street, the angel lights can be seen stretching all
00:15 down the road, with a ripple pattern that looks amazing both during the day and at night-time.
00:22 Right next to Regent Street, Oxford Street's star lights are also back, and can be seen
00:27 dangling from lit up strings. Bond Street has a few different types of lights, with
00:32 crown-shaped lights and ones that hang from both sides of the street that look like angel
00:38 wings. Carnaby Street wins the most creative lights with their Carnaby Universe, street-long
00:44 lights from outer space, with planets and blue galaxies that illuminate the street.
00:51 Every year, countless tourists come to see London's famous Christmas lights, and you
00:56 will often see people stop to take pictures of them, or to strike a pose in one with a
01:01 big smile on their faces. If you're feeling in the festive spirit already, or feel like
01:06 you want a dose of holiday cheer, there are a few other places in London that feel straight
01:11 out of a Christmas fairy tale. For anyone looking to catch them, they usually turn on
01:16 around 3pm every day, and will be on display until roughly the first week of January.
