Teardrops of war
The new sculpture at the Australian War Memorial is meant to be touched and smoothed. For Every Drop Shed in Anguish consists of 18 marble spheres each one flecked with natural blood-red stains. It is meant to represent the anguish felt by veterans themselves but also by their families.
