00:02 - Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're counting down
00:11 our picks for the most thrilling,
00:13 the most exciting live events we've experienced in Fortnite.
00:17 - If Galactus keeps absorbing the zero point at that rate,
00:21 we'll all be looking at a full reality collapse.
00:25 - Number 10, The Meteor, Chapter One, Season Three.
00:29 (wind blowing)
00:31 This live event was a simple one,
00:35 going all the way back to when Fortnite
00:37 was just gaining traction.
00:38 Players got to experience a beautiful meteor shower
00:41 that seemed to pop out of nowhere.
00:42 However, the biggest surprise was when the shower
00:45 showed no signs of stopping
00:46 and started getting closer to the map.
00:48 Many began speculating what this was all leading up to,
00:51 with most claiming Tilted Towers was about to be leveled.
00:54 (speaking in foreign language)
00:57 (wind blowing)
01:00 In the end, we said goodbye to Dusty Depot,
01:02 and it helped bird the idea of live in-game events
01:05 within Fortnite.
01:06 Since then, each idea has gotten crazier and crazier,
01:09 as you'll see throughout the rest of our list.
01:12 (explosion)
01:14 Number nine, The Cube, Chapter One, Season Five.
01:21 (wind blowing)
01:26 By this point, we were getting used
01:28 to mysterious occurrences within Fortnite.
01:30 Then, this giant purple cube showed up.
01:33 Players were initially confused
01:34 as to what the purpose of this entity was,
01:36 until one day, it started to move.
01:38 (wind blowing)
01:41 We remember the hysteria over this,
01:47 as legions of players and content creators
01:49 were trying to guess what it was doing,
01:51 where it was going, and what it could all lead up to.
01:54 What we got were several enigmatic runes
01:56 sprouting in the cube's wake,
01:57 and the eventual creation of the floating island
01:59 we'd see in the following season.
02:01 (wind blowing)
02:04 (explosion)
02:08 Number eight, Operation Skyfire, Chapter Two, Season Seven.
02:12 - I found the abduction chamber housing the bombs.
02:15 Once this patrol passes, I'll get you out of here.
02:18 - The Zero Crisis finale was pretty great,
02:20 but Operation Skyfire surpassed everything
02:23 with an almost Destiny 2-like ending.
02:25 With a plan to finally bring an end to the mothership,
02:27 you and your friends board the ship with explosives
02:29 while sneaking past alien soldiers.
02:31 - Brace yourselves!
02:35 (explosion)
02:37 - Once you find the core, it appears empty,
02:41 until, big reveal, the cube from Chapter One
02:44 was responsible for the whole thing.
02:46 It was such an epic setup for Season Eight's story
02:49 surrounding the mysteries of the Golden Cube.
02:51 (explosion)
02:54 (explosion)
02:57 Number seven, The End, Chapter Two, Season Eight.
03:00 - The last reality is ashes!
03:04 - It was almost hard to believe that Chapter Two
03:09 was drawing to a close, and it was coming a tad quicker
03:12 than Chapter One's ending did.
03:13 After seeing the way Epic suddenly brought an end
03:15 to the first chapter, how do you pull off
03:17 the same scale of wonder a second time?
03:19 Well, let players witness the birth
03:21 of a colossal cube queen that calls upon
03:23 a race of aliens to invade.
03:25 Of course, the biggest, most mind-bending moment
03:36 was when we all saw the island getting flipped upside down,
03:39 revealing the map we'd be playing on for Chapter Three.
03:49 Number six, Fracture, Chapter Three, Season Four.
03:53 It's sort of bizarre how Chapter Three ended so soon
04:07 compared to the other chapters.
04:08 However, it did wind up getting one of the coolest finales.
04:12 Fracture brought everything to a close
04:14 for the Zero Point Saga, as the four players
04:16 attempted one final defense on the reality tree.
04:19 (lasers blasting)
04:22 As the title implies, the island gets completely fractured
04:26 with all sorts of locations floating by their lonesome.
04:29 It all ends with chrome vortexes all over the place
04:31 and the eventual assembly of a brand new island
04:34 leading us into Chapter Four.
04:36 Number five, The Big Bang, Chapter Four, Season Five.
04:48 (explosion booms)
04:51 This was a wild ride.
04:56 With the OG season rubbing some players the wrong way,
04:59 some folks were wondering whether Fortnite
05:01 was starting to lose steam.
05:02 Far from it.
05:03 The Big Bang was an 11-minute-long teaser
05:06 of what was to come in Chapter Five, Season One.
05:08 Racing with cars from Rocket League,
05:17 a Lego-fied game mode, and even a Guitar Hero-like segment
05:20 where we got to see famed rapper Eminem
05:22 perform "Lose Yourself," one of his most iconic songs.
05:26 And it all capped off with a massive Marshall Mathers
05:28 destroying the world while singing "Godzilla."

05:38 Number four, The Device, Chapter Two, Season Two.
05:41 (engine roaring)
05:44 (dramatic music)
05:47 The Device has gone down as a fan-favorite event,
05:52 and for good reason.
05:54 The agency was a fun addition to the lore
05:56 and first introduced the concept of heists into Fortnite.
05:59 But the big question was,
06:00 what exactly is this shady organization planning?
06:03 What's the goal?
06:04 Well, it was to finally rid the world
06:06 of the ever-closing storm.
06:08 - Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on, hold on.
06:10 It's not just a storm.
06:11 What does that mean?
06:12 - Things quickly started getting trippy
06:14 as buildings and the device itself
06:15 began getting pulled into the ground
06:17 and screens began glishing out.
06:19 It was as if the entire universe imploded
06:21 and endured a hard reset, and it was awesome.

06:43 where an outside IP has had a hand in Fortnite's story,
06:46 at least at this level.
06:47 The Devourer of Worlds began
06:49 just before Chapter Two's fourth season ended
06:51 when Galactus first emerged from outside the map.
06:54 - Beginning transport now.
06:55 And away we go.
06:59 - From the level of interactivity
07:02 between Galactus and the environment
07:04 to Iron Man and Wolverine's involvement,
07:06 this event was wild in how it managed
07:08 to continue a somewhat cohesive narrative
07:10 while roping in Marvel Comics for an epic crossover.
07:13 - You did it.
07:21 - Number two, The Final Showdown, Chapter One, Season Eight.
07:24 One of the coolest additions to Season Eight
07:33 was the giant mecha that stood towering
07:35 above Pressure Plant.
07:36 Would be a shame if it wasn't used for something cool.
07:39 An epic new what we'd all been wanting
07:41 the second we saw it.
07:42 Seeing the sudden appearance of the Devourer
07:50 immediately told us the mecha was about to come alive
07:53 from one of the most explosive fights
07:54 we had seen in Fortnite by this point.
07:57 And that climactic end where a kneel-tilted statue
07:59 turned out to be a sword,
08:01 truly one of the greatest events
08:02 to ever happen in the game.

08:26 Number one, The End, Chapter One, Season 10.
08:32 (dramatic music)
08:35 This one was an event no one could have ever forgotten.
08:42 It was already bizarre that we jumped from regular numbers
08:45 to a Roman numeral, but we didn't expect
08:47 this momentous milestone to mark a monumental maneuver
08:49 into an ever-changing landscape.
08:51 As the finale to the end event in Chapter One,
08:54 a black hole emerged and spent roughly a day and a half
08:56 pulling in sections of the map.
08:58 Eventually, the entire world was wiped.
