Nolan sister given ‘amazing early Christmas present’ amid cancer treatment

00:04 'cause we're so nervous about getting the news.

00:06 And then when we went in and I knew straight away

00:09 that it was good news by the look in my consultant's face.

00:13 And he said that the scans were good, MRI and a CT scan,

00:18 and that the shrinkage with the tumors.

00:21 So yeah, I wanted to put my arms around him and kiss him,

00:25 but I thought they might throw me out.

00:28 - I don't think they would.

00:30 I think that would be entirely deserved.

00:32 What an incredible Christmas gift, Linda.

00:35 - Oh, absolutely.

00:38 I mean, when I spoke to you before,

00:40 I didn't think I'd make Christmas.

00:42 I was hoping to make the birth of my nephew,

00:44 Maureen's son, Danny, the birth of their baby, Marley,

00:49 who was born at the end of July.

00:51 And then I was thinking, oh, well, will I make,

00:55 how many more milestones will I make?

00:56 And at the moment I feel good.

01:18 and he said to keep moving, you know,

01:20 don't sit down all the time or nothing will work.

01:23 So I was doing that.

01:24 And I just looked and thought how lucky I am

01:28 to be able, you know, after nine months

01:30 and getting the worst possible news,

01:32 getting, you know, having a great time with my sisters

01:36 and a friend who were with yesterday.

01:38 And yeah, and now it's all excitement for Christmas,

01:42 you know, I can wash out now and buy presents.
