00:00 - They did a good job of disrupting timing
00:02 of some of our routes.
00:05 We got in some third and long situations,
00:07 which is tough against those guys.
00:08 It's a solid defense.
00:09 They do a good job of mixing up coverages,
00:11 stopping the run, putting you in third or long,
00:13 uncomfortable situations.
00:15 And they did a good job of mixing coverage
00:17 and just contesting throws, made it tough on us.
00:20 And we weren't good enough in the first and second quarter.
00:24 And that mostly starts with me.
00:26 And I feel like timing was a part of that.
00:28 And I just got to be better.
00:31 - What did you see on the London Cup respect?
00:33 - So Pat had like a bender.
00:37 He's got a, I thought he was going to bend
00:41 in front of that safety a little bit.
00:43 So it ends up being a bad decision.
00:47 - George Pickens appeared very frustrated
00:50 coming off the sidelines.
00:51 I know you're frustrated as well.
00:53 Is that anything you interact with during game time?
00:56 Or is that anything you can say
00:57 to that side of the field?
00:58 - Yeah.
00:59 I try to talk to G on the sidelines.
01:01 Obviously he's frustrated.
01:02 We're all frustrated.
01:03 Game didn't go down how we wanted it.
01:05 We'd like to get him the ball more, get him going.
01:07 He's a special talent.
01:08 And once we figure that out
01:12 and just everyone's got to manage their emotions
01:14 and we got to drive in the same direction
01:17 in order to be successful.
01:19 But he cares, man.
01:20 He cares.
01:21 And it shows it in different ways.
01:23 And those frustrations come out,
01:25 but everyone's frustrated.
01:27 But I talk to him and give him some time.
01:29 We'll come back tomorrow, go back to work.
01:31 That's all I know how to do.
01:32 Just go back to work.
01:33 - How tough is it to battle through those frustrations,
01:36 especially when you guys are in a hole early on like that
01:40 or trying to climb out of it?
01:41 - It's tough.
01:42 It's tough.
01:43 Everyone's frustrated,
01:44 but as you can see, the game is close
01:47 and the tide can turn very quick.
01:49 And I feel like even in the second half
01:50 or the first half, things weren't going our way.
01:52 We kind of got some momentum in the second half.
01:55 And that's why I just try to relay to the young guys
01:58 who haven't played a lot of ball in the NFL,
02:00 the games are going to be close.
02:01 They're going to come down to the end.
02:02 And it's those little plays
02:04 that can turn the tide and momentum.
02:07 So you can't let your frustrations get in the way
02:09 of what can potentially be a big play
02:10 to turn that tide and be there for the team.
02:13 So we just got to continue to stick together,
02:16 pull each other in, learn from our mistakes.
02:19 And it starts with me being a better leader
02:21 and getting the guys right.
