00:28:10 Here we have a look at the highlights of
00:28:19 Farrah's program, the Egyptian theme.
00:28:23 [Music]
00:28:27 Nice height in the double lutz.
00:28:35 [Music]
00:28:38 And her double flip double toe with a
00:28:42 little turnout on the ending.
00:28:46 And here's her camel variation.
00:28:50 Nice position.
00:28:54 [Music]
00:28:58 I liked the height that Farrah had in
00:29:03 the double lutz. Very nice.
00:29:06 And her character with her program, she
00:29:10 kept throughout the program, very
00:29:14 nicely done.

00:30:03 The short program score for Farrah
00:30:07 LaRose, 21.57. Farrah is currently in
00:30:11 first place.
00:30:15 >> And Farrah got a score of 21.57 for
00:30:20 her program.
00:30:23 >> Her next competitor is Olivia

00:30:31 skating club.

00:33:14 Olivia LeClaire
00:33:18 [Applause]
00:33:22 >> Here's a look back at Olivia's
00:33:29 program. Beautiful whole body
00:33:34 and her double-flap, double-toe
00:33:37 combination at the beginning of the
00:33:41 program. A little turn out at the end
00:33:44 which will affect the grade of execution
00:33:47 or the GOE. And a double axel, very well
00:33:51 done. So Olivia's combination spin.
00:33:55 A little bit of a travel so that means
00:33:59 she's moving her centers moving across
00:34:03 the ice a slight bit. Overall very
00:34:06 well skated program. I particularly
00:34:10 enjoyed her use of her whole body
00:34:13 throughout the program. Like very
00:34:16 matching with the character of the
00:34:19 music.

00:39:08 Just brings you, draws you right in to watching the program.
00:39:13 And the opening double loop, double loop combination, nicely done.
00:39:19 There's a double flip.
00:39:26 And a very nicely done camel with the variation.
00:39:37 And there's that smile again.
00:39:42 I also thought Julia had very nice posture throughout.
00:39:46 You could see it when she went out to present.

00:44:41 I'd like to invite the following skaters to the ice for a six minute warm up.
00:44:49 Here's her opening jump combination, the double flip, double toe combination.
00:44:54 Beautiful height, nice little arm highlight over the head, increasing in the difficulty.
00:45:00 And her axle, good distance across the ice.
00:45:05 And here's her combination spin, a variety of positions, nicely tucked down in that sit spin.
00:45:15 [Music]
00:45:19 I really liked her little arm highlights in the jumps and she had great energy.
00:45:25 Very well skated Brianna. Little wobble at the beginning probably due to a little bit of nervousness,
00:45:31 but great recovery and great energy throughout.

00:54:33 Setting up the program there.
00:54:41 And the opening double flip, just a little back, too far back on the blade on the landing.
00:54:51 And here comes the double lutz.
00:54:54 Just a little off balance on the landing causing that fall.
00:54:59 Your axel nicely done, confidently with a little turn.
00:55:06 Accenting the ending.
00:55:09 I actually really enjoyed this spin. It was a highlight for me.

01:00:05 Miyaka Tong.
01:00:14 And here's Miyako's highlights of her program.
01:00:18 Nice speed to set up this program going into the opening jump.
01:00:27 She's landing on the back of the blade there on that double flip.
01:00:34 And her double toe combination very nicely done with just a little slight turnout at the end.
01:00:43 There's the camel spin.
01:00:46 A nice variation there.
01:00:50 Miyako had a difficult entry going into that camel spin which was a highlight.
01:01:01 Also her free leg on the exit of her axle just floated up into the air beautifully placed.
01:01:08 And I liked her energetic.
01:01:12 Energetic feel that she had matching her program and the music.
01:01:18 Well done Miyako.
01:01:22 The short program score for Miyako Tong, 20.65.
01:01:38 And Miyako is currently in fifth place.

01:04:13 [Music]
01:04:16 Callie Volpoine.
01:04:40 Again we'll look at some of the highlights of Callie's program.
01:04:43 Very nice soft knees to begin this program matching the music.
01:04:48 Nice softness to it.
01:04:51 And the opening double loop, double loop combination with a little turn in between.
01:04:56 Just had a little hard time resetting for that second jump.
01:05:00 And the double lutz.
01:05:09 And here's her camel variation which had the difficult entry going in as well.
01:05:14 Nice position.
01:05:18 Really liked how Callie started off.
01:05:25 The music had a very softness to it and she has such nice soft knees that really matched her music.
01:05:31 And then it built into this strong music at the end and she seemed to
01:05:38 get that flow going and that power going to match that music.
01:05:42 I really loved how that matched. Well done Callie.
01:05:45 [Music]
01:05:50 [Music]
01:05:56 [Music]
01:06:04 [Music]
01:06:07 [Music]

01:09:35 Anna Woodward
01:09:40 Let's have a look at the highlights of Anna's program. Here's the opening.
01:09:49 Nice little expressiveness setting up this program.
01:09:58 Now there's a nice height on that double flip, little turnout before the double toe to make that combination.
01:10:04 And nice double lutz.
01:10:13 There's her camel spin. You can see a little loss of speed towards the end of that program,
01:10:24 but she's trying to get all her rotations in so that you can get your full amount of points
01:10:29 for that spin for completing the required number of rotations.
01:10:34 Highlight for me for this program was the height in the jumps.
01:10:39 She had a beautiful pop up in the air, giving her lots of time to rotate those jumps to the full completion.
01:10:46 [Music]
01:10:49 And Anna's the last skater of our second group of skaters.
01:10:59 And if you're watching and you have photos from the competition you would like to share, you can share them at #SkateOntarioProud

01:38:14 There's her single axel, very nicely done.
01:38:22 And double lutz, double toe combination.
01:38:35 So camel variation with the lunge entry making it more difficult.
01:38:42 I liked how she had some nice highlights that hit the music,
01:38:46 especially that sliding motion that just kind of hit that music.
01:38:53 Very nice.
01:38:54 You may have noticed that Elizabeth jumps the reverse direction to the majority of the skaters.
01:38:59 Approximately about 10% jump clockwise, whereas the majority of the skaters jump counterclockwise,
01:39:07 so it may look a little different to the viewer's eye.
01:39:11 It was a very nicely skated, clean program for Elizabeth.
01:39:22 And her score is 20.21 for Elizabeth.

01:46:56 Here's her opening double loop and single toe loop combination.
01:47:00 Just had a little too far turn to forward to complete a double on the end of that.
01:47:07 And beautiful double axel to follow that up.
01:47:10 [Music]
01:47:15 Love her fast spins.

02:06:37 Here's her combination spin. Nice pointed toe in that spin.
02:06:53 And the final jump of the program, her axel nice and clean.
02:07:00 That was very well skated. Sophia a couple, a little bobble here and there but beautiful attention to the edge quality of the step sequence was the definite highlight for me for Sophia's program.

02:16:11 And her camel spin. Good speed, nice.
02:16:18 Good amount of rotations in that spin.

02:20:51 And double lutz. Just a little loss of balance there on the end of that double lutz.
02:20:56 But she followed up with a nice double loop, double toe combination, which was nicely done.
02:21:06 I like the use of Emma's whole body throughout the program. She had very expressive arms.

02:25:26 Nice axle.
02:25:34 Here's the camel spin. Good speed, nicely centered, good positions. Well done.
02:25:46 I thought Madison had a very good gutsy program, good determination. When things didn't always go her way, but she had that drive and determination to come back and continue on and push through and get the job done.
